Finnally getting around to hard wiring and installing rea camera. I want to run wires tucked up under the edge of headliner. A pillar panel seems to be enough to remove but the B and C look to more painfull with seat belts mounted and such. What are you guys doing here ? is it possible to fish the wires under panels ? or is there a easier route to take ?

Yeah I haven’t completed mine yet but I mapped out the route and I should be able to just slightly tuck the wire just on the outside of the trim running all the way from the front to the back. Don’t even need to go down to the floor. Again, I haven’t done it yet but visibly mapped out the track and it seems pretty straightforward.

Easy to tuck under the trim pieces. I used a plastic dry wall edging/mudding tool to tuck.

Don’t need to remove them. Tuck them in the top. Easy peasy
I agree they can easily tucked behind the "A" pillar and run along the top of the roof liner. The harder part is finding switched power.

Running wire's to fuse box and taking A pillar panel off is'nt a problem for me. I was more concerned about running wire/cable for the rear camera.

I got a Fitcamz and it’s easy to hard wire using the dome light harness

I was surprised how easy it was to route the harness to the rear camera in my 2024 F-150. I have yet to hardwire the front, I am using the utility plug/cigarette lighter.

Being a newbie I wouldn't know an A pillar from a B panel. Is there a diagram somewhere where I can learn the lingo?

I gently pulled the headliner down enough to tuck the wire under. I did pull the door weather striping down to get behind the headliner. Make sure you mount the camera on the correct side the first time. I had to move mine over to the other side...lol

I just got one of these and took power straight from the rear view mirror right beside where I installed the camera.... the cables to the rear ran across around all the trim at the top.... nothing down low at all...

I found one that supplied two separate usb ports. One for front and one for rear. Works perfect. Took 2 min to run the wire. So easy.
