I know there are tons of posts already on door rattles, but I haven't seen many on this particular noise. This is coming from the door panel (happens on both driver and passenger front doors), pretty much right where my elbow sits, maybe back rarther towards the B pillar. It's typically only on rougher roads, but even sometimes just driving down the highway. If I press against the door panel, it stops. But immediately starts up again once pressure is released. Anyone have a good fix for this before I mess with taking the panel off? @Ford Motor Company ??

That exact same noise for me was coming from the triangle trim piece that covers the bolts for the side mirrors. Try putting your hand on that to see if the noise stops. A little bit of felt tape fixed the issue for me.

Yeah I tried that, was hoping that was it because there seem to be some answers on here for that. Unfortunately, it's not there.

I have a creak noise where you grab the interior door handle area. If my knee rests against the door, it makes it worse. I haven't found any way to remedy the creaking noise.

2024 Lariat and I have the same creaks where my elbow rests, as well as rattles on both front doors that require wrapping duct tape around the striker for the latch to tighten it up. Just have to rewrap every 2 - 3 weeks. Dealer fixed it once and lasted 2 weeks. No clue how to fix the door panel creaks. I’m hoping in the end, warranty will cover it when I can live without my truck for another attempt to get it fixed.

Did you ever fix this @theonly_ern ?
I have the exact same thing and it’s killing me. I’ve taken the door panel off multiple times and put tape in places and it doesn’t help.

@airn890 I put wire tape all over almost every contact point I could find between the door frame and the door panel, and that seemed to help. Though I have another rattle in the door in the warmer months, and another rattle/slapping sound that sounds like it's the window seal or trim. So I'll be back to the dealership at some point for those.
This truck is annoying as heck.

Hi everyone...I know it's been a little while since the last post here but I am having a very similar issue on my brand new 2025 Lariat F150. I noticed it pretty much instantly. Has anyone found a long-term correction? Is it worth going to the dealer to see if they can address? I appreciate any advise and feedback. I traded my 2016 F150 that didn't have any issues like this over the 9 years I owned it. It's a bit upsetting to see so many threads on this for the new version of these trucks.

Try moving in the strikeplate latch (not sure if that's the right word) inwards. I had kinda a creak. I think the door was just not quite snug enough and would make noise.

Also, i had noise behind the rubber at the B-Pillar that holds the window glass. I stuck some window foam behind the rubber and it has stopped.

I think I had a thread about the door creak somewhere around here. Let me see if I can like to adjusting that plate.

I'll grab a photo of where I put the foam as well. EDIT: Photo attached.

Not sure if this will help everyone but hey...

OK, I posted the door creak plate on another forum. Not sure if rule violation to link elsewhere so I'll just share what I did and my photo. My door kinda creaked like rubber rubbing kinda noise.

First you need a Torx PLUS 40 (not standard Torx...you'll strip it). TP40. I got one for cheap I think at NAPA. And tightening torque when done is 18 ft-lbs.

Just slightly loosen the torx bolts (don't have to remove the bolts), move the plate inward just a smidge, then re-tighten the bolts. Doesn't take a lot of movement, at least on my truck. But the rubbing/creaking noise stopped.

The blue tape was the original position on mine. Please note this photo the new plate location was too far inwards. I actually readjusted it back towards the blue plate after this as my door was a bit too hard to close.
