How was retrofitting the torsen diff in your xlt? I do emergency snow plowing and there are times I would feel a bit better with a little more gusto in the front heading up the hill in the driving snow.So far I've done Tremor 402a lighting, power mirrors, Heated raptor wheel w/paddles (hvac w/buttons for heated/cooled seats), torsen front differential in my 22 xlt fx4 (has 360 cams/lane assist factory).
Things I'm dreaming of attempting or getting help with (@jesse?),
Speedometer adjust, Heated/cooled seats, raptor hi-loc transfer case (122 wheelbase), and 12 sync 4 (have been looking into making sure that factory navigation, downhill assist, everything still works?). Lower on the list, would love to do Intelligent handles and rear sliding window..
Ford Performance did it for me before I even took delivery of it, so not sure. They said It was a bit of work and the only one they had done. I had them swap the gears and replace the carrier bearings. How was retrofitting the torsen diff in your xlt? Nice to know ford can/will do this. Did you commission the work or you bought the truck this way from somebody else? I have no clue what i should expect cost wise on thisFord Performance did it for me before I even took delivery of it, so not sure. They said It was a bit of work and the only one they had done. I ordered the truck new and had them install it day one. I don't remember how many hours they charged me, but remember thinking it was more than it would take a person that felt comfortable to do it themselves.Nice to know ford can/will do this. I couldn't allow a 3rd party to do it unless I could inspect the backlash, preferably the entire process.I ordered the truck new and had them install it day one.
