I had several very hard downshifts that almost made me feel like I was rear ended. I was also getting some funky downshifts that were inconsistent and clunky.
Broke out the vac to pull the old fluid from the pan (did this process twice for a total of 10 liters) and also added in a 10 ounce bottle of Lubeguard Platinum. I haven't had any of the hard downshifts, but after 5k miles or so, some of the clunky shifts are returning already. I'm at 58k and will probably try to get it looked at before the ESP takes over.
I really want to find a dealer close to me that has a 10R80 guru so that I know my transmission is in good hands if they end up rebuilding it with the revised CDF drum. I will probably even offer to pay for any extra parts that aren't covered by the warranty, if the tech thinks it would be a good idea.
