My dealership took care of me. The sales team set up a service appointment and even gave me a loaner car (Mustang Mach E) while Service had my truck. They were done in about 4 hours. I had my FordPass points before I got home! My truck is now activated and everything seems to be working now.

I took delivery on June 11 however when I inquired about the truck on June, 8, the service action, 21B33, was already posted but this truck was the first one they sold with that issue. Went on June 14 and the Service Forman fixed the issue himself and confirmed that it fixed the problem because they had several other trucks on their lot with the same issue.

All worked well and was out of there in under one hour. I think it took about 10 minutes for the update and then everything connected like it should.

Same here, picked up my King Ranch Powerboost today. Couldn’t connect to Ford Pass or Apple Car Play.
Good thing we have this forum, the dealership did the update and fixed the problem, works now. They didn’t have a clue!

I’ve got a Platinum also. Took it to the dealer to get the SSM applied. Dealer told me that in my truck’s case the router setup is fine. Apparently my truck’s issue is that Ford built it and has it setup as a fleet vehicle which restricts a bunch of access. If you get on FordPass chat or call Ford they can look pretty quickly to see if it is listed as a fleet vehicle in their system. Unfortunately, they still haven’t fixed mine. My case has been “elevated” to the “engineers” as of a week ago.

Same issue with my May 9th build Powerboost truck. The dealer has had it for 2 weeks. They replaced the entire Sync 4 module/panel with no change. They are talking to Engineering every day and trying new things. The tech thinks it might be a cable for Internet functions. The funny thing is that I cannot even set up my insurance automatically because Geico cannot communicated with the truck.

Second visit to the dealer today, still no joy. They say they spoke with tech support and were given a bunch of things to "look at" including checking out the antenna. That means tearing out the head liner on my new truck. Not happy about that. Kinda sucks for a vehicle in this price range. Is there any more on the Fleet Set-up mentioned by Ruelj4?
