As the original poster, I feel like an update is in order. I lost all trust in my original dealer who said that I needed front brake pads at 34K miles. My new dealer did an inspection and said all 4 wheels were fine. All were at 9, not 5 like the first dealer said.

I responded to an earlier post with a video as well. Mine sounds exactly the same. Thought it sounded like a Powerstroke not a Powerboost! Just happens when it’s cold and the truck is sitting outside.

I wanted a cover that was weather proof and secure. The Undercover Elete doesn’t leak a drop. Also had the dealer install the dust seals. Plus it looks good. It has the Ford logo which looks good.

My Powerboost sounded exactly the same when I started mine in an outside temperature of zero F. I said to myself it sounds like a diesel! It went away after idling a few minutes.
