i did the same mat trick to my wifes 2012 edge, all the doors and door panels plus fender liner dead foam. what a difference in radiated road noise

Thank you for posting this. Im picking up my 22 Platinum on 10/19. I pulled my three way active system out of my 2013. I will be installing it in the 22 and was looking for some pictures of installs on DIYMA. I have everything except the ZenAudio module and will be building a new speaker box. I did see a thread that my Audiofrog front stage will fix perfectly in the B&O Unleased locations. I can’t wait to get my truck.

Don't get me started, I still have my equipment from my last truck but didn't think I'd want to mess with it all again. 2x sundown x8, 2000w sundown for subs and 1000w sundown for speakers. Nice to know it went in a power boost fairly straight forward.

Even with 2 XS batteries I had some voltage drop issues but didn't want to replace the alternator because the truck had a lot of miles.

B&O doesn't sound too bad in my dads maverick but I've also gotten used to really shitty speakers in a transit for 2 years too...

I am getting ready to do a similiar thing...although a lil different equipment....that I am buying in stages.

I thought the unleashed would keep me happy for a year or so...nope...within a month I put in an order for Helix DSP/AMP.

Nice to hear the front dash will accept after market speakers..my plan is Audiofrog GB10's in the a-pillars and Gb25's in the dash.

I am still up in the air about the sub...dont want an under the seat...I hope SoundsGoodStereo releases their behind the seat sub soon. For now I have a pair of Rockford Fosgate PS-8's that will fit.

my parents mavericks is tooo noisy, road noise with the high traction asphalt is horrendous
plus he only listens to AM talk crap so the its like sitting in a steel can.

What trim is it? My dads is a lariat, wonder if that matters. Sound deadening shouldn’t be something to skimp on between trims though.
I’ve been driving his the last couple days waiting to pick my truck up and it’s pretty quiet but then again, been driving a loud ass transit and I got used to that so I’ll know in 2 days when I got my truck as something else to compare to.
