What trim is it? My dads is a lariat, wonder if that matters. Sound deadening shouldn’t be something to skimp on between trims though.
I’ve been driving his the last couple days waiting to pick my truck up and it’s pretty quiet but then again, been driving a loud ass transit and I got used to that so I’ll know in 2 days when I got my truck as something else to compare to.

with hybrid..it rides like a buck board and is very loud on our DOT high traction asphalt which is basically 3/8 rocks glued to tar.
i think he runs tire pressure to high, but he is stubborn as of late and wont let me regulate tire pressure
i am 6 3 and have a hard time being comfy in it.

I am getting ready to do a similiar thing...although a lil different equipment....that I am buying in stages.

I thought the unleashed would keep me happy for a year or so...nope...within a month I put in an order for Helix DSP/AMP.

Nice to hear the front dash will accept after market speakers..my plan is Audiofrog GB10's in the a-pillars and Gb25's in the dash.

I am still up in the air about the sub...dont want an under the seat...I hope SoundsGoodStereo releases their behind the seat sub soon. For now I have a pair of Rockford Fosgate PS-8's that will fit.

I’m using a Helix DSP Pro MK2 with Director. I have to figure out where the director will mount. I have 2 ArcAudio 1200.6s for amps. I currently have a single shallow JL 13 however I am looking to change the sub to add a second and build a new box.

That's funny...I didnt realize unleashed had the dash mounts. One of my main goals was...when I tired of the B&O was to add a two way active...wanting to be 100% stealthy. I had bought Gb15's before I got my truck.....when I saw the dash mounts...I was thrilled and traded my gb15 for gb10 and bought some Gb25....now its going to be 3-way.

I am buying and installing in stages...so it will be about 6 months before I am 100% done.

I don’t even have my truck yet. My install will take some time due to my busy schedule. Since the unleashed system is so bad, I’m thinking I will have to make time sooner to get the real audio system installed. LOL

@Jbcaindo - Looking at your pictures again, I realize I need to look into the harness you used. It appears that is to utilize the factory speaker wires. In my 2013 I ran Stinger speaker wire to everything which means taking almost the entire interior out of the truck to run new wire. Do you happen to know the gauge of the factory speaker wire? I also need to order new ground cable since these trucks are aluminum and I can’t ground to the cab.

And here I thought upgrading the doors with Kicker 3 way 6x9's and 2 way 6.75's with some sound mat behind them was a nice upgrade...

Bet no one has seen one of these yet... There's only a few in the entire US, and somehow I got my paws on one.

I'll be swapping the 8.9bit (8ch) out for the new m12.14 (12ch) and activating the headliner and headrest speakers

Awesome!! Please keep us posted. This is something I may have to do later down the road. Today i'm getting just my sub put in and keeping the rest of the B&O system in factory form. I really like the full surround sound it offers so doing this would be a nice change. I have a lot of carry over parts from my previous trucks in storage that i could dig out and re-use for this with minimal additions needed. Looking forward to your update if you keep the headrest and headliner tweets activated or not.

The amp rack and the way you did the work reminds me of YouTube channel Five star audio down in FL. I just have the base system and I’m really thinking about taking my truck down to Florida and having them do my truck. The work that they do is phenomenal from what I can see.
