You can say that again! My truck is in production and I have access to the window sticker. No where on there does it say "Head up Display" as standard interior equipment.
I think we both ordered a KR. Can you post your sticker? I haven't been able to find one for a KR anywhere. From what I can see on a normal 3.5 EB, the mileage went from 18/23 to 16/24 without anything mechanically changing. I'm also assuming yours will have the EPA data missing but I'd still like to see one just so I know they actually exist.

Like you, I won't take it if it's missing anything except for the new tailgate.

But doesn't Ford typically carry some significant portion of the cost of dealer inventory through a 'floor plan' financial arrangement with dealers? Ford often / typically isn't paid in full until dealer inventory stock is sold?

That, in part, is why Ford often offers discounted (below bank-rate) financing for previous model-year stock if there's lots of it still in dealer inventory when new models are released; and that costs Ford money (reduced net margin).

Just suggesting that manufacturers can't and don't ignore the market impact of excessive previous year dealer inventory and that can have a bearing on new model production decisions.

USUALLY the dealer buys the vehicles from the factory/manufacturer. Years ago dealers paid cash for their cars and trucks but that is not how it is usually done now. With costs being what they are the dealer borrows money, either from their own bank or uses factory provided loans called “floorplans.” The floorplan money is paid to the manufacturer and the dealer pays interest on the loan starting with the date the vehicle arrives on his lot. The factory gives the dealer a rebate, called support for 90 to 120 days (Ford is 90 days I think). If the dealer sells the car in that period he will have paid little or no interest because the support payment covered the interest. After that period the interest starts to accumulate. When the vehicle is sold the floorplan is paid off as well as the interest for that vehicle.

At the end of the model year, if a left over model is still on the lot, the interest rate rises and after a couple of months it may be “curtailed.” That mean in the eyes of the bank or floorplan company it is not worth the amount owed on it to sit on the lot, so the dealer has to pay cash money to lower the loan to its new value. This is a big loss for a dealer and why dealers push hard to get rid of old inventory.

In short, the factory sells the vehicle to the dealer and It is their problem after that. Time really is money for a dealer. Dealers can also earn manufacturer bonus's on volume (service departments earn this as well). Turn the inventory fast, earn money on volume - which may mean less profit per deal, but more deals made over a shorter period of time equal a bonus. There are other things like "holdback" and stuff like that where dealers make money or use to cut losses but this is the gist of it.

Just a couple of weeks ago the line that was given to dealers was there are no constraints save for the Pro Access Tailgate. Now less than three weeks later, they can't build any KR or Plats. They can't build anything with a Powerboost or a 3.5L Ecoboost. WTH?

It took 5 months because you ordered the super cool, highly desirable, Lariat SuperCab! ;) :ROFLMAO: ;)
:ROFLMAO: (y) .... of course I had no idea at the time the Lariat SuperCab would be no more o_O

Call it good luck or call it good karma, I sure do love my keeper F150 and thank the fates for my good fortune! The Granger Ford deal and 0% Ford financing were icing on the cake. ?

Wishing the best for all current buyers. :)

Maybe they need another year to sort out their supply issues - and thereby, potential buyers should wait for another year.

I have a MY 2022 and my truck is full of deletes. I think that the Job 2 2022s and 2023s are the max delete trucks.
I think it had to do more with the specific options selected, the calendar date when build finally occurred, and perhaps plant location, than "Job 2, 2022" per se.

My truck ordered 12/22/2021 and built 5/12/2022 is shown on the OASIS detailed specification for my Kansas City built VIN to be a "2022 JOB #2 PROGRAM CONTROL" vehicle. In spite of that I had No Deletes from my original and never modified order.

Just lucky I guess.

Again, wishing best of luck to current buyers! :)

Retired and not looking. I am driving the wife crazy.
It took about 3 months to get my special ordered 23 XLT. I loaded it up with a $60,000 MSRP. Which I thought was ridiculous, but what the hell. I am made of money according to my wife. What was hilarious is that in addition to factory incentives they financed 100% of the cost of the truck, tax, title license, and blonde that came with it. Nothing was deleted with the order. Unfortunately the blonde was fully dressed.

All that being said, Ford, GM, and other idiots drank the electric car KoolAid and are now paying for it. Watch sales and cash flow running forward. It will be ugly. They are struggling to deliver the product the public wants. If you want Lightnings they have them. Just expect recalls.

The hell of it is that Toyota has kept their cool and is building a hybrid line. They will come out of this mess in a good position.

One piece of advice. Keep your batteries parked outside about 30 feet from your house.

yup the dealers dont actually own them, they are fords inventory so to speak, unless dealer buys them and carry on
this is also why dealers do TONS more dealer swaps with little issue. just trade one banana for an orange
its a weird thing
most of the 23s around here are base line or as of tonight 7 KR powerboost all in black..
one plat
very strange stock layout.

yes i like my 22, only delete or constraint was the auto start stop,

These constraints were posted on this forum last year, at least that is what I recall. Am I imagining things or just not seeing them recently?

What is the cycle for these new orders being accepted / constraints listed? Is it every week?

This MY rollout has been an utter disaster. They are already running 4-5 months behind their typical rollout and they still don't have their crap together. At this rate, I should change my priority code back to 19 since they can't make any KR anyway. The new tailgate might get here before the HUD.
GM came out with the 2024 trucks in November and have been on the Dealer lots since December, it makes you wonder what Fords problem is. ?

I firmly believe that Ford has some sort of problem they are trying to remedy without the word getting out. Ford made it through the first year of Covid waaaay better than GM and Ram, but it seems those companies are caught back up now while Ford continues to suffer major supply challenges.

Ford trucks have more tech than GM and Ram. The Hybrid really pushed me towards a 2024 F-150 over the competitors. Arguably GM trucks are simpler / haven't changed as much in the last five years, which makes then easier to build.
