Here is another piece of fat to chew on and for people to undoubtedly question. Just got the call from my salesman telling me that Ford has issued a statement that Max Recline Seats will be removed from all builds, along with the active park assist (which we already knew). I am heading in to acknowledge the new build sheet now.

So if you thought you were getting a truck with Max Recline seats in 2022 from this point on, think again or if you do, I am really jealous haha. Pretty soon they will have removed enough stuff to get my KR down to a lowly XL. I am not thrilled one bit about removing the seats.
thread here.

Unless you are in dire need of a new vehicle, I believe I would walk at that point and try again in the future (of course, no guarantee if or when those features might return, and prices will likely continue to rise). Auto/start removal is a gift in disguise, and auto park doesn't move the needle for me. But these seat features are primary differentiators between these trims and Lariat.

I am at that point, once confirmed my order will my modified without my approval my order will be cancelled and I'll keep my 2015 and look for a used 21 or 22 job 1.

The seats losing active motion & max recline on an 80k truck is laughable.

I'd really like to see ford price protect a trim change for those affected. I know I'll be dropping from a 601a all the way to a 302a if allowed.

Yeah got my order updated Wednesday and was finally selected for production on Thursday. Kinda bummed about the max recline seats, but oh well. I didn't want AS in the first place.
