The one thing that I do not like is that it turns on lane centering and blue cruise each time you turn on cruise control. Now I have to hit the cruise button then hit the lane centering button to turn it off.
BlueCruise and Lane Centering are one in the same (kinda sorta). They are both either on together or off together. It's always been this way. BlueCruise is like the Borg, it assimilated Lane Centering.

I've been getting that message for about 10 days now. Very frustrating.

When I called Ford they said the battery wasn't charged enough. (60% needed to be at least 80%)
I feel like I might be having the same issue. The Sync update did its thing in late July but what I presume to be the other half of the update won’t take.
Any recommendations on battery chargers so this update will take? It says it takes 95 minutes to install so ideally something that plugs in and not just a jump start kit.

Pretty much any agm charger will will work. The clore automotive PL2320 is one that is recommended on here a bunch. The napa carlyle cpl2320 is the same as the clore charger but blue. When you charge your battery use the lower amp setting over night or until the battery charger says its charged. Or go out on a very long drive with the fan speed 5 or above.

...battery chargers...
I wasn't using a battery charger when I got my OTA update. I do have a trickle charger that I hook up overnight occasionally. Not because I need to, it's just a general maintenance thing I do. It's the small Optima charger. Any trickle charger would do what I'm using the charger for.

Addressing your concern though, I am of the opinion that unless you have something wrong with your charging system, you don't need a battery charger hooked up to receive an OTA. I could be wrong and I'm told I'm seldom right. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In my case the truck only gets driven twice a week and for short (1-3 mile) drives. And then 3-4 times a year it gets driven 500-1000 miles. Maybe it’s a good idea to get a trickle charger.

Recieved a different (engine performance) OTA since then. Now got the "Not Completed" again for BC 1.4.
Am I correct in thinking the "Not Completed" has nothing to do with battery charge level?
Is it indicating an incomplete download? What would cause that?

It's most likely the battery not being charged above 85%. It happened to me and after a few calls to Ford for them to say my battery was determined to be to low to upload the update and then charging the battery the update went through.

Not Completed means that OTA attempt failed for one reason or another. There is nothing you can do to get it to go through once you see that. All you can do is wait for it to be resent.

Mine continues to fail. This is the second attempt it made. It also failed back in March. One morning I threw on a battery charger and started the updated at 100% but it still failed. I likely won't try anymore and just let it fail or pass. Seems like most of Ford's updates cause the truck to get worse, like the HVAC update.

What have you heard or read about the HVAC update?

There was an update awhile back mentioning they were making the system more efficient or something. After that update it seems like I have to put the temp at like Lo to 62F when in the past I would leave it around 67 - 69F. This is when it's in Auto.

OK so its your personal situation/experience which is great because your comment is the first complaint i have heard. I am tuned to this because my 13 had horrible HVAC and this 21 I have works better and I do not want to do an update that effects it. Thanks

The only feedback you get if you have driver assistance displayed. While in drivers assist it tells you preparing to and changing lanes. I wish it was the like the other cars that showed more.

I will have to check that out. I do not use blue cruise often and I never have the Driver Assistance screen up.
