Over eight months now since this was announced without the update. Ford's OTA system is incredibly frustrating. About to go on my ninth road trip without these enhanced features. OTA updates continue to come in, just not this one.
Almost progress. Received the IPMA-24.204..10.9 update today but got the 'Not Completed' message.

I received this update a few days ago and kept getting the “update interrupted” message even after throwing the trickle charger on overnight and pressing the update now button several times throughout the day. Then the following evening at my scheduled 1 AM install time, it updated. 🤷🏻

Any way to change the settings on the new update where it does not slow down for curves? Before I had no issues with the cruise set and BlueCruise able to handle the curve, but with the update it now slows down too much in my opinion.

Turn off predictive speed assist in the driver assist settings under the cruise control options.

I've been getting that message for about 10 days now. Very frustrating.

When I called Ford they said the battery wasn't charged enough. (60% needed to be at least 80%)

I do not find anything for predictive speed assist?
Did you ever add the config to the APIM for the buttons associated with the BC 1.4 features after you updated the truck?

No, I just received the OTA update, is there something else I need to do?

To add the buttons with FORScan:

APIM (as built)

7D0-09-05

xxxx xx4x 2x--

7D0-10-02

xxxx xxxx 1x--

Note: This will NOT give you lane change assist etc. This will only add the toggle switches to the touch screen if you already have functioning lane change assist.

Using FORScan is the only way to get these?

I'm guessing you've never used FORScan before? I was once in this boat. My first change didn't take and the truck barked at me. It puckered me up pretty tight. I reversed what I did and all was right. I figured out the problem though. I've since done many changes. I'm no expert by any means, but I followed the posted guides. It's actually very easy to use FORScan. Once you change one thing it is basically rinse and repeat. It's kinda sorta free to use. The software and license are free. You need a Windows laptop. You need and OBDII interface as well. You may or may not have the last two items or have access to them. If not, well then, FORScan won't be free for you.

I finally received the update. I had not realized it was going to be a multiple part update. I thought I received it months ago.
The truck does not hunt nearly as much as it used to.
Lane change works, but I wish there was more feedback. My wife's car gives you a graphic showing that it is going to change lanes and in what direction.
The one thing that I do not like is that it turns on lane centering and blue cruise each time you turn on cruise control. Now I have to hit the cruise button then hit the lane centering button to turn it off.
I am trying to remember how the speed recognition before the update, but it may not have been turned on. (My daily drive is on and off the interstate with no speed changes along the way)

Recieved a different (engine performance) OTA since then. Now got the "Not Completed" again for BC 1.4.

The only feedback you get if you have driver assistance displayed. While in drivers assist it tells you preparing to and changing lanes. I wish it was the like the other cars that showed more.
