FWIW I had a bunch of failures applying this update manually. Eventually it worked, and I don't know why. Here's some of the permutations I did:

- Charge and recharge and recharge the main 12V battery again with a trickle charger
- BMS resets
- Put both of my key fobs in a faraday box
- Run the update with the hood closed (vs open + trickle charger)

At some point during the last update I noticed my phone had paired on Carplay like the truck was running, and I thought maybe that's what was screwing it up. I was ready to disable Bluetooth on my phone and rerun the update to prevent Carplay pairing, but the truck told me the update was successful when I went down to give it another go.

Now six months. Still no BC 1.4. (But the Optimized Airflow OTA installed yesterday.)
Been there done that for 2 years. All I can say is it's coming. All things come to those who wait?

That trunk being closed is key. Stupid but it's key. The whole truck needs to be locked up to pass that prereq check.

I’ve never received and update in my driveway or garage. I started receiving updates in rapid fire last year when I parked my truck on the street at the front of my subdivision:

I needed my garage and driveway to cut wood last year for a Playset I built for my kids. My phone is AT&T and will drop my call sometimes if leave my garage when it jumps from WiFi to cellular. My evidence could be a coincidence but once I moved my truck a different spot the updates flowed.

Anyone please clarify. Getting OTA updates has nothing at all to do with having your truck attached to your home Wi-Fi. OTA updates come over the AT&T cellular network though the truck's onboard modem. If you're in an area with a spotty cell signal you may or may not get an OTA update. Is this correct?

EDIT: Perplexity says updates come over Wi-Fi too.

If I didn't know better I would think you're my neighbor. I live in an area just as you describe. You know those coverage maps all the cellar companies publish? Red red red everywhere, but I live in the tiny tiny white dot area.

Anyone have issues with this saying “Not Completed”? Dealer said that BC1.4 was paused, but seems like it’s still pushing to folks.

Not completed means the OTA failed for one reason or another. Nothing you can do but wait for it to be resent.

Thanks I think I saw you reply to an older post the same. Dang search didn’t pop it up. Thanks. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

I wish Ford would have told me this 2 weeks ago!
My local dealer said they had to update some modules. Got my truck back from dealer today and this is what was on my repair order.

"Reprogrammed IPMA and PSCM to the latest software levels per the OTA update"

Still stuck at update not completed....

PM sent. Do you mind looking at my VIN?

Ok now that I have been living with 1.4 for a month I am not seeing any graphic indications on my F-150 dashboard like my wife's Mustang Mach E.

For example when she passes a truck she will get a graphic on her dash that shows the car moving over. When she does a lane change she'll get a graphic that the lane change is happening.

I do those things and nothing happens on the dashboard. I thought that was one of the updates that landed before 1.4. Changes to the display on the dash that go with the new features of BlueCruise?

It's very subtle on the F150. If you have the Diver Assistance screen up on the dash, it will tell you "preparing for lane change." I have also noticed, when not in that screen, the small little driver assistant screen in the bottom right will display a larger "bubble" around the truck when preparing for a lane change.
