Before and after-rear blocks removal

These are before and after pics of my 2025 PB 4WD. It's subtle but does lower the tailgate about 1". I'm debating on whether to go with a lowering kit. Easy job, but I had to cut down the U-bolts a bit to get a deep socket on them after removing the blocks. I torqued the nuts to 25 ft/lbs. all around, then went to 50, 75, and 100. Yes, the lift helps.

Yours seemed extra lifted in the rear. Looks much better with them removed.

It's a '66 like my dad's old car that he bought new when he got back from Vietnam. It's solid, but does have cowl rust so I'm replacing those and adding a new interior. Factory 200 but now has a later 200 block with a 250 head, headers and a Weber 38. I'm debating on going V8 but will finish the bodywork and paint first.
