I was looking for the trunk monkey add-on when I was ordering my truck, either they don't offer it in an XLT, or maybe they just didn't update their website? I guess I'll have to go after market trunk monkey, just don't know if they're as good as the original.Too pricy for me, so I'll just stick to the tried and true Trunk Monkey
Aftermarket only for liability reasons.....as long as these trucks sit on the lot in Dearborn or KC, the monkey would be dead long before deliveryI was looking for the trunk monkey add-on when I was ordering my truck, either they don't offer it in an XLT, or maybe they just didn't update their website? Thanks for posting...I was wondering what my next mod(s) should be.Just placed my order! https://www.alpineco.com/vehicles-we-armor/armored-ford-f-150
They even offer a PB, so I can still plug in my smoker while under fire!
ablative and reactive armor are one thing, but I'll pass on any armor that needs updates, whether wired or OTA!Sure it stops a ton of different rounds but they say nothing about OTA updates ?
Armor easily blows past the GVWR maxed out. They 'recertify' the vehicle's GVWR This is also why 1 tons are a popular starting point so when 3klbs+ of armor is added they don't have to do too much more to it.I wonder how much it weighs?
