As usual the higher end lariats (502A) for 2024 doesn’t come with tilting headrests (another deleted feature) and am looking to add it back in. ? Has anyone done this yet?

Possible correct part numbers too as I’m seeing a few different ones?

I did this on my 21 Lariat 501A. I ordered the headrest online and removed and replaced my covers on to the new ones. Very easy to do.

My 24 KR came with tilting head rests. Maybe they just deleted them in the lariats?

It’s possible; they deleted the 3rd brake cam wiring too on the higher end lariat. ?

I’m also going to attempt getting the 24 Raptor digital speedo swapped in the 24 lariat because I miss the RPM tach 0.0 readout. Still don’t get it why Raptors have it still but rest of us don’t?

I would think the tach would be a change you could make in FORScan? I wouldn’t think it would be two different units, just different settings.

Just hearing conflicting things especially for the ‘24 Raptors but @antho confirmed it on his 24 Raptor; his doesn’t have it.

My 24 King Ranch is prewired for the bed camera and has the tilting headrests.

Can you share part numbers? I was pretty disappointed (and shocked) that my 502A came without tilting headrests.

Only 24 KR and Platty has the pre wiring for bed camera now; Ford apparently removed Lariat as luxury line up lol

If anyone is interested, I can confirm the tilting headrests from my 2013 F250 Lariat fit a 2024 XLT. I assume most other years do too.

I'll be replacing them in the XLT and there seem to be plenty of used headrests that should fit. I'll probably try to find a dark gray or black leather to see how close it is in color to the XLT's cloth.

Are you referring to the front headrests, or the rear?

The front. I'm pretty sure the rear headrests don't tilt.

They used to fold flat in my 2016 and then they got rid of that a year or two later and it has never come back from what I have seen. Same with the big fat handle on the underside of the back seats to fold them back down. Now its just a cheap strap that's harder to use.

I wish the back headrests folded forward so I can clean the inside glass behind them. Hard to get my fat hand behind the headrest. Thinking I am going to try one of those Swiffer dusting handles with a paper towel wrapped around it. See how that works.
