Your truck might not qualify. The amount of the credit varies based on the VIN (read: build). Specific options needed to be on the truck to qualify or be affected, as I understand it.

Mine does qualify for the lower amount. That's the reason I'm following this thread ?

It has the Tow/Haul package and had a build date of 2/6/24

I seem to remember discussions about what Powerboosts were built with as standard compared to what non-Powerboosts were with the Max Tow package. In essence, making the addition of Max Tow to a Powerboost unnecessary. Does anyone recall that? And what did the 2 share? (brakes, springs, etc)

Max tow axle was not available for 2024 MY PB’s, if I remember correctly. The Max tow package was discontinued altogether for 2024.

Probably due to Ford's piss poor engineering and inability to devise a proper fix for it after a recall was issued nearly two years ago...

Oh crap. Just occurred to me that since they are giving us a coupon code, we can't get the normal 10 to 20% off they always seem to have on their website.

There are dealers out there that offer their own discounts. I have a local one that does 16%.

Update: Just tried to order a tent, bed mat and light bar from a local dealer that discounts those three parts by 18%, for a total of $806, so I would have to chip in an additional $21. However, their system doesn't recognize the discount code and the parts counter doesn't know anything about the program. Awaiting a call back from their online center. Seems you have to order through the Ford.com/accessories website and then select a dealer. Not all dealers are part of the Ford accessory web ordering system. When you use the Ford accessory website, they use list price and the three items I want would cost $968, meaning I'd have to kick in another $183. Looking like I may end up only ordering the light bar and tent at a zero cost with the discount code, then ordering the bed mat from my discount dealer for an additional $164, leaving $7 on the table from the program unless I can find some accessory item in the $7 range. Any ideas on a cheap accessory?

Update: discount dealer responded and can't accept Ford discount code - "Our website has the Lowest / Wholesale price we offer. There are No active Promo / Discount codes at this time. If you have a FORD promo code, you can redeem it through FORDparts.com or ford.com/accessories.com. " So now if I want the bed mat, I'll use the 20% off promotion Ford is having on a 2nd order using promo code "TRUCK2025" ( For registered customers. Use code TRUCK2025. Offer valid 03/21/25 – 03/31/25. ), so it will cost $152 - $12 less than my discount dealer.

Just received my letter and struggling to get some value out of my $785 credit. I already have a tonneau, bed rug, floor mats, mud flaps, NOCO GB40 with case, bed extender, bull ring stake pocket tie downs, and dog hammock. King Ranch comes with just about everything else I could need.

We don't have much use for the bike or camping accessories. I like my tool kit and first aid kit better than their branded versions. I will take a look at the parts site to see if there is anything different. I might prefer that they just apply to connected services

I used it all up on the accessory page, didn't try the other one. Give it a try to see if it works, if it doesn't accept the code, just cancel the order, the code will still be good until you actually use it to place an order. Remember, you have to use it all up in one transaction, can't split between multiple orders.

My F150 was built during the qualifying dates. I have not received a letter yet. The campaign letter said to call the Ford Accessory number if you didn't get a letter. I just got off the phone with them. They were considerate and professional but were of no real help as indicated they might be in the campaign letter. I was told;
1. they do not have a listing of vehicles that qualify.
2. Ford is still sending out letters
3. Only the letter from Ford will provide the purchase code.

You are going to have to call Ford themselves. Letters still might be coming out, but I got mine a few weeks back and already used it. Maybe wait till the end of the month, then try.
