That was what I was going to do too. It took awhile before I received my written notice on the last CSP after seeing it in my app.I was going to give them until the end of the month before I contacted the Ford Accessories Team. Is that too long to wait?
You should see a note in your Ford app under recallsDoes this only apply to vehicles with the max tow package? My rcsb 2024 does not have that.
Thanks. Keep us postedCSP 24B57 showed up in my Ford app as a recall but it really isn't really a recall. I took my truck in to have another service performed CSP 24B67 - Upper Radiator air deflector and asked about 24B57 which was in my app. The dealer said I should have gotten a letter with a code. I didn't get a letter, just notification in the Ford app. He printed me a generic template of this letter. He said I'd need to call Ford.
The problem: This code is used like cash to buy accessories. It is unique to each VIN. For security reasons, nobody (Dealers or Ford Customer Service peeps) seem to have the ability to generate the code because it's like handing out money. It sounds like I'm not the only one who didn't get a letter with a code to use.
- The letter said to call 833-807-3673 which is info about recalls. They couldn't help so the letter has the wrong info.
- They referred/transferred me to Customer Service: 800-392-3673. They also said they couldn't help. They confirmed the CSP applied to me/my VIN but could not provide a code.
- They referred/transferred me to the Ford Parts accessories number: 844-589-0060 who also could not provide a code because it requires special rights... My code is worth $785. They're investigating how to get my code and promised to call back.
I'm waiting for a call back.
Your truck might not qualify. The amount of the credit varies based on the VIN (read: build). Specific options needed to be on the truck to qualify or be affected, as I understand it.What a pain. I haven't seen anything in my Ford app or gotten a letter.
A rep from Ford contacted me this morning (3/18/2025) to tell me the letters containing an actual code used to redeem the promised credit have not been mailed yet. She said she expected I should receive it soon. A SNAFU at Ford appears to have notified customers via the Ford app before letters have been mailed out. Her advice was to simply wait a month and call back if not received.Thanks. Keep us posted

She did not understand why the dealer printed the "sample" letter out for me. I explained again the the CSP appeared in my FordPass app along with another recall. When I took it in for service, I asked "What's this CSP 24B57 thing?". They looked it up, explained it and printed the sample letter out. I further explained to her that people on this forum were seeing this CSP in the Ford app as well but hadn't gotten a letter.
So....If anyone has received this letter with a "code" on it, please advise.
I asked if there was a way for her to determine if a letter was sent to me and I just missed it or tossed it out with junk mail. She said they did not have a way to track that.
Hope this helps. Thanks.
