Just curious if anyone has done this yet. I think Belltech is the only company selling a setup to do it. I know that when I had the IHC 4/6 kit on my truck the axle would hit the frame even without the bump stops in it and could have benefitted from a C-notch. The issue I'm seeing at this point is if you wanted to use load leveling bags from Ridetech/IHC/etc. they would be absolutely crushed between the leaf spring and frame, and you'd need a custom load leveling bag setup. Still seems as though Ridetech has it figured out as a far as amount of lowering and quality of components in their kit without ruining the truck.

You don't need traction bars with a 4 link suspension...that is one of the many perks of a 4 link system. I actually bought their C Notch and 4 link suspension system. Just need time to install it all...

Oh, and any airbag system can be made to work as long as you have a welder...or a buddy who has a welder.

That's true. I guess I was just more curious if there were any "bolt in" options for things. I understand that with a welder and tons of time you can build pretty much anything you want. I was more looking around at options that didn't involve having to re-structure the whole rear of the truck. The other thing I'd be curious about is how the ride and handling is before going that far with it.

The reason I am looking into this is because I wouldn't mind being able to get the truck lower than the Ridetech kit allows for, but not without a ton of trade-off. Like mentioned above, without having to custom build a bunch of stuff, there don't seem to be any traction bars or load leveling bag kits that would fit anything that goes lower than a 6" drop, and anything more than a 6" drop will need a C-notch or the axle will hit the frame. The bag kit would need to be located inboard or outboard of the frame, not in between the leaf spring or axle.
