Please do... I wish I could, I'm 2.5 hours northwest of metro Detroit. I spoke to Ford and they said it could be someone driving it to test emissions and to make sure everthing is working OK... They need to drive it 19 miles to do that?!

I know personally I would rather get my tuck with 50 miles on the odometer working good than get my truck with 1 mile on it and run into issues immediately. I'm all for ford taking their time to guarantee quality vs releasing piles of junk fast.

I reach out to the dealer and ford chat and they told me ETA March 25-31 so fingers crossed
I ordered mine in 9/16 and got in production by 01/29 but online still says "in production"

One thing that no one seems to be talking about is how much this waiting game is costing us. Every day/week that goes by, the trade in value of our current vehicle is decreasing, making the net cost of the new vehicle cost more. Ford doesn't seem to care about that, and I'm sure we will not be compensated for our locality of our order or our patience waiting for the delivery.

Bingo! Very well stated. A little truth would go a long way. Tell me why my all these trucks including mine are on "quality assurance hold". My original eta was 1/27/24 and now it is TBD

I am getting a spray in liner but the dealership is doing it. There is no reason this should have been sent off-site for anything other than shipping so I'm not sure what is going on. It is incredibly aggravating to know that someone is driving my truck around while I sit here and wait for it to ship.

Damn man I really feel for you. You just want your Truck and ya got some dick out there driving it around instead of shipping it. Between my order issues and what I am seeing others go through on here and other forums, I am really losing confidence in Ford lately. I just emailed the "Sales Performance Zone Manager East Division" trying to get scheduled so I have a Truck for when I travel to AK this June. He said he would do everything in his power to schedule me for tomorrow since it already should've been. We shall see. Until then I will have patience. I been looking hard at that RAM TRX.

I honestly think the "tracking website" is complete BS and useless along with the Ford Live Chat. Why is Ford trying to offer a "personalized experience" using a tracker that hardly provides any information? When I received the first email confirming my order, I was excited like most of you. I've realized it's a useless gimmick, just like many of the modern tech found in this truck. Lane assist? Trailer backup assist? Transformer tailgate? ALL COMPLETELY UNECESSARY. Only reason they are added is to raise the cost of the vehicle and to say they are leading the industry. How is it with all the technology in 2024, and FORD is having trouble with logistics. The material suppliers using the "pandemic" excuse is unacceptable at this point. 4 years later and they haven't been able to adapt and coordinate accordingly is laughable. After all this waiting game is over, I just hope to get my money's worth from this truck like I did with my '07 F-150 5.4 with 315K miles.

Asked Ford chat about my order, they said it’s in production estimated to be complete by April 11. Blend was 1/22.
Funny because my dealer originally told me a couple weeks ago that ETA was early April, I assumed he meant ETA for delivery to the dealership. Now looking like May delivery at the earliest.
