Mine works fine. Trucks been in the shop for a week now and that’s how I tell of they are really working on it or not. Every time the hood or a door is opened it lets me know.

I am on Android 4.24.3, "getting" alerts to the app but it's not alerting me...I have to manually go to the app and look for them.

Fordpass has been like that for MONTHS with me... I'm on an iPhone. I'll go into the Fordpass app and see all the messages about doors and the tailgate from my drives around town... but my phone never gets the iOS notification. It definitely worked in the beginning.
I've deleted & reinstalled; I've quadruple-checked the "Notifications" settings; I've swung a dead cat around my head 3 times (ok... maybe it was a stuffed cat... but that's almost the same thing!)... nothing has worked.

My former ‘21 had it available and it worked fine. My ‘22 did not have it available from the get-go. My FP is up to date and all that. Oh well.

I just spoke with FordPass support and SecuriAlert is officially "on hold" for everyone. If you have it working, you probably have an older version of Sync and/or the app. There's no timeline for it to be restored, but I suspect it is related to the "we can remotely disable your truck" functionality that was in the news recently.

I have iOS FordPass version 4.24.0 which was updated less than a week ago and Sync version 3.5.4 including the 22-PU.. update and SecuriAlert still works fine for me.
I won’t be too bothered if it gets disabled. I think it’s silly there isn’t a bit more control over it. Like disable them if you have your key on you but also keep them active with the key as well depending on circumstances.

Secure Alert is working fine on my truck. It has all the current software updates and same for my phone. It does not alarm when using the key fob. If I use the keypad on the door to open it, I get this. I’m thinking Rick B was given a load of BS by the Ford Pass support team.

I purchased a new phone a month ago, Samsung S22, loaded the FordPass app fresh, logged in and no Secure Alert button in app. Android version 4..24.3
So I fired up the old S9 and sure enough Secure Alert is still there. I then allowed the S9 to update the app to 4.24.3 and the Secure Alert button is still there and functional.
There seems to be some sort of disconnect between the truck and the app. Something in the cache on the phone was lost when I made the upgrade to the new phone. And the old phones cache has never been cleared since Secure Alert was first installed via OTA in the late spring of 2021.

I have never lost securilert and I have always been running the current version of FordPass. My phone gets notifications, as well. Albeit with a delay of a few minutes sometimes.
I've never understood the limitations of who's works and who's doesn't. It's not cut & dry, from what I can tell.

I recently lost Secure Alert. It all showed as working, but it was not. I uninstalled/reinstalled the app and it started working just fine. Works great now. When I reinstalled it, I recall it asking me to take a survey on what I want to be alerted to, etc.

I suspect it's something very much on the cloud side, and a single value in some record-cell in some table in some database......... is the culprit.
Or another way to put it is there's a value in the database with some dependency of another value(s) and if not met it doesn't work as designed.
I'd trade my securilert for FordPass recognizing a Bluetooth connection to the truck, therefore enabling the EXTENDED functions that the app offers in Bluetooth. I've had that working only a very few number of times in the last 2-years. It works so rarely that I don't think folks are even aware of the difference, because I never see it mentioned!
A really good example is the ability to turn Generator mode on/off from the app, as well as a real-time monitoring of the watts draw. Because the app doesn't recognize the Bluetooth connection, and therefore only has cloud connection functionality, you can NOT manage ProPower from the app, and can only get a single snapshot reading of the watts draw.
The 2 different experiences are dramatically different. One's World Class. The other feels like Alibaba software knock-off
