Really wanting to lower my 25 single cab but concerned of the typical lowering issues. Has anyone had any vibration or squeaks using Ridetech or or other kits? Is there a brand I should defiantly use and/or a brand I should stay away from?

Thxs!

If you do, do a Ridetech kit. Forget the cheaper ones.

I have a 2024 RCSB and installed the RideTeck 3/5 kit and I am very pleased. I also installed their rear sway bar and air booster springs. The handling is very much improved and the air bags really help to level things up when you carry a heavy load or pull a trailer.

When considering lowering your RCSB 3/5, keep in mind that it WILL NEVER drive like stock. Once you accept that reality, all lowering kits will have their pros and cons.

Many people choose Ridetech for their long history in the lowering world and a well put together kits. Even the best kits will squeak and rattle if the installer over/under torque the bolts or don't lubricate correctly. I don't have their kit but have read on this forum many great things about it. Great quality kit.

I personally went with IHC Performance 3/5 kit and installed it over a year ago. 28K miles later, everything is still holding up, even the QA1 shocks, zero leaks.

Out of the box, all the parts look great, and the instructions are very clear. The truck stance was exactly what I was looking for, low, but not too low. Every time I drove the truck, I would pay attention to how the suspension reacted and then I would make adjustments to the suspension until it finally rode the way I wanted.

Over the next few weeks following the installation, I emailed back and forth with IHC and provided them with feedback on their kit. I believe they now offer a revised kit.

Regardless of what kit you go with, just remember to lubricate all bushing joints. And even after you lube all joints, you will need to do it again 10-15K miles later. It's normal maintenance for a lowering kit.

Ridetech on a crew cab here, and it's a very well put together kit. Vibrations seem to be hit or miss, mine's all good. I have this rattle in the back on bad roads, which I believe to be the shock bushings, can't say for sure... And keep in mind, it rides ok on smooth pavement, but the minute it gets rough I wish I went with bilsteins and 35s . I does look good though

I have put on 15k miles since my instillation and have never experienced any noises or rattles and the ride is much improved over stock. There are 24 available firmness settings and I have mine set on 12.
The handling is far superior to stock and the suspension has never needed any additional maintenance or lubrication. The tire ware is even and there is no vibration at any speed.
I have traveled empty, with the bed fully loaded, and towing a trailer near capacity. The truck has performed very well and the lowered suspension has not reduced the capacity or usefulness one bit. The rear sway bar and the air bags probably increase the capacity or at least improve the stability.
I highly recommend the setup.
