Hello all. First, thanks for all the info and opinions here, they were very helpful. We just brought home a new 24 XLT Powerboost 7.2k from Granger (to Colorado). Love the truck. 21 MPG overall, mostly 70-80 MPH hi-way miles, with a brief detour to Laramie and the Snowy Range to scout future camping spots.
Second, and sorry in advance, since I know I saw posts regarding charging/battery issues, but I wonder if I should deal proactively with a potential charging issue, or let it possibly fester or somehow just go away. When I test drove the truck on Monday there was a warning on the driver's screen that the battery was low. I didn't make much of it since it appeared the truck had been sitting on the lot for a while with very low mileage on it. After driving it for a couple of days hard, and then just a couple of short trips for the next couple of days, I saw a warning on the big screen this morning that it was in "low power mode" when I first started it.
Otherwise, all is well, and again, we love the truck, just want to avoid a dead battery. Your thoughts?
