Hello all. First, thanks for all the info and opinions here, they were very helpful. We just brought home a new 24 XLT Powerboost 7.2k from Granger (to Colorado). Love the truck. 21 MPG overall, mostly 70-80 MPH hi-way miles, with a brief detour to Laramie and the Snowy Range to scout future camping spots.

Second, and sorry in advance, since I know I saw posts regarding charging/battery issues, but I wonder if I should deal proactively with a potential charging issue, or let it possibly fester or somehow just go away. When I test drove the truck on Monday there was a warning on the driver's screen that the battery was low. I didn't make much of it since it appeared the truck had been sitting on the lot for a while with very low mileage on it. After driving it for a couple of days hard, and then just a couple of short trips for the next couple of days, I saw a warning on the big screen this morning that it was in "low power mode" when I first started it.

Otherwise, all is well, and again, we love the truck, just want to avoid a dead battery. Your thoughts?

The battery should be covered under your factory warranty.

When I bought my 2023 Powerboost, it had been on the dealer lot for almost a year and had the low battery issue as well. When I brought it back in for the issue, they replaced the battery no questions asked and haven't had the problem come back since.

Thanks JustinH. I had my first "Complimentary Guided Visual Tour" from FoMoCo this morning (which I recommend to any other newbies) where I was advised that "Low Power Mode" on the center screen when you start up refers to the fact that only the 110 plugs inside the truck are being powered, as opposed to the "higher power" plugs in the bed. (I have the 7200 watt Pro Power option which I have yet to use.)

I hope that means I am spared the charging/starting glitches others have reported. So far so good.
