Pheeww! read the whole 55 pages last night and did not sleep at all ?.
But the positive is I think I am ready to start gathering the parts and add ACC to my 501a.

@superfordman I believe we have the same 2023 Lariat 501a 4x4 so it should be more or less the same edits and changes as in your sheet. (also saying that I might bug you with all the questions ?)
I was looking at the sheet and found there's another one that say's 23 work... do I use just that as I read in the previous post's that a lot of the stuff was already activated/changed?

To get started though on the parts:
Wiring is the ML3Z-15K867-MA OR MF(A POST SAID THAT THE NEW PART)

For Module: ML3Z-9E731-G but here is the thing isnt there multiple part number members have been using such as the whole assembly ?

I have got a FB listing that is selling the module part ML3T-9G853-AL, its listed as a F-150 ACC Module along with few other things from a 502a.
Can I use this it comes from a donar truck? If I can will I be able to reassign it to my VIN?

Looking to get this done before the snow here in Canada, by what I have read it should be smooth with all the data and you sheet.
TIA

Disregard that sheet tab, that is my play around sheet and for got hide it, thanks for the reminder!

ML3Z-15K867-MA is what you need if you have a turbo motor, will work for a 5.0 as well but will have extra connectors.

That FB listing is what you need so get that if you can.

Yep, just get the parts and make the changes in the sheet and you should be on the right track.

Sweet! Thank you for confirming.
Will update back once I have all the parts with me.

M6x20 or 25 flange bolts
Damn it! I ordered the Ford parts and it's around $50 for 3 of em.
Are these just the same? if so, I might try to cancel the order when I pick them up.

Apart from this @superfordman If you help me understand what will be the different steps for my CCM as it's a used one?
How do I remove the previous VIN and add mine? That's the only thing I believe I am unsure of at this moment.

@thunderf150, I did not order the Ford screws for the CCM, I took my CCM to ACE Hardware and bought 1” stainless steel, flange screws that fit it along with some thread locker. As for the VIN in the CCM, once you have the CCM installed and recognized by ForScan, simply overwrite the existing VIN. That’s all you have to do.

Got it! So when installed open the ForScan in new profile to see ccm and 1. overwrite VIN on it and 2.make the changes to other modules or opposite?
What bolts should I ask at the parts shop, do you have any pictures?
TIA

Yes, just follow my sheet and copy in your VIN from another module.
For bolt exactly what you quoted from me above, M6x25 flange bolts.

Yep, just like @superfordman said. When I ordered my CCM, I didn't order Ford's flange screws with it opting instead to just take my CCM to ACE Hardware and have them match the threads and head shape.

To clarify your question on entering your VIN into the CCM, you must make all the ForScan changes in all modules except the CCM first. Then power off your truck, let it sit and absorb all the changes you made, then go back in and load a completely new profile in ForScan. If all physical connections are made correctly, you should now see the CCM in ForScan list of modules. From that point, enter your VIN number in the CCM as indicated on the spreadsheet, overwriting the previous VIN that was in the CCM. Write the changes, power off/on and verify the changes. Assuming all is correct, if you haven't already done so, you need to physically level the CCM. After that, you need to run the CCM calibration procedure that's been detailed several times throughout this thread. Since you read all 55 (now 56) pages, surely you'll remember reading that. ?

Yes, have ForScan active on your laptop while driving around performing the CCM calibration. When you first run the calibration, ForScan will give you some instructions. Be prepared to drive around for 15 to 20 minutes in light traffic where you drive about 30+ mph following some cars in front of you. Try to drive as straight a path as you can avoiding turns where possible. Turns seem to increase the calibration time. Don't stare at the laptop, but if you glance at it while driving, you see a progress bar along the bottom. When it reaches about 99%, it seems to stay there for a very long time, but don't abandon it. You'll also see a notice on the instrument panel that the CCM is not calibrated, but when finished with the calibration, that message will simply go away. Drive back home and park your truck and double check to make sure the calibration has completed successfully. You find this out by clearing any DTCs and reloading them. You shouldn't see any DTCs for the CCM. Good luck!

Just an update the parts are here. Too bad the temperature is dropping down quickly here now. Hope I can find a way doing the installation at a buddies place inside a garage.
Fingers crossed.

A big shoutout to @johnhbrandon & @superfordman !! ✌??

Thank you so much guys. I got it working ?

Just few questions, it seems I wasn't able to activate the Intelligent Adaptive Control for some reason. I see the tolerance options but no menu option which says intelligent.
&
The pop up to keep hands on the steering just appears in no time. This is when I have my hands all just not with pressure or force on the steering.

All the directions made this easy as it may get. Opening The bumper and fitting the wiring and that too alone was some work.
Took me some 6 hours or so. Attaching the picture of my available menu options. Please guide what could be done to get the intelligent part.

Thank you so much again. ??

I seem to recall that it is no longer defined as intelligent adaptive cruise control. I think @superfordman pointed that out. The intelligent part of adaptive is speed limit sign recognition which will adjust your speed to the posted speed limits when adaptive cruise control is active. You also have predictive speed assist active which will predict speed limits as you approach the sign and slow you down as you’re reaching the sign rather that waiting until you cross it to slow down.

I noticed you also have speed warning active. It’s your choice but most of us agree it’s a pest. Good job getting everything up and running. I had a lot of support from others who upgraded to ACC which sure made it easier than going it alone.

Hmm, that does make sense. I think I read something similar somewhere but maybe it was a little too much to grasp and remember all.

For me, another easy part was the Excel file @superfordman has for the Changes to modules. Most of them were straightforward to apply.

I am wondering if and when I get the front level do I need to recalibrate the sensor?
Is there a similar calibration for the above windshield camera?

All in all, am happy !! This was one of the most desired mods.

Activated the Rain sensing Wiper as well.

Now next will be to do the Hill Decent mod.
