Adding 12 volt receptacle on the center stack

This is the first vehicle I’ve had in forty years that doesn’t seem to have a standard 12 volt cigarette lighter receptacle somewhere on the center stack. I’d actually like to add one pointing upward flush with the flat area right in front of the BO center speaker, the area where you throw change and a pen. Does anyone know how that speaker and base plate area covered by the rubber mat is removed? Anyone got a better idea? I’ve got a backup camera for my trailer that has the traditional plug for the lighter socket.

I have a standard plug and 120 on my dash, strange yours doesn’t have one. But to answer your question,

Go down to the install section, there are videos of how to remove that area. Search for the same product on this forum, others have posted where they tapped power for hardwired devices in that area.

Surprising 12V receptacle has been dropped. My 2022 PB XLT has a 12V, 120V. and 2 USB points.
