2022 space white f-150
My 2022 space white has a similar issues, only had 10k miles on it. Not as bad as some of the pics on this thread. More noticeable along the roof channel grooves you can tell not enough paint and primer was applied while being built. I took it to my ford dealer and they filed a warranty and was approved. They are repainting the whole roof now. It took me awhile to get them to approve it. Hopefully it turns out’s okay.

2018 Lariat; has the same roof peeling at the seam. I was thinking of putting a layer of white silicone caulking over the area. That should protect it and stop it from peeling. Any thoughts?

This is the brochure for the 2021 version (8 years tops). Toward the end of the 2022 model year they upped the total years to 10.
Yep - at the bottom it lists exclusions:

Examples include: fixed (non-moving) body parts, bumpers, glass, moldings, ornamentation, paint, rust, sheet metal, structural underbody framework, side and rearview mirrors (glass and housing), water leaks, wind noise, weather strips, wheels, wheel studs, wheel covers, convertible top and bow.

New to posting here but wanted to add to this thread.

2018 F150 - purchased new from dealer. Also Oxford White. Also built in KS. Paint continues to peel off in several locations. Dealer isn't interested and now in talks with Ford directly to see if I can get it repaired under a goodwill program though I'm not confident.

Man that's bad. I truly wish you luck when dealing with Ford corporate.

I wouldn't hold my breath based on my experiences with them. My 2019 was in the shop for 70+ days and they didn't give a damn about me as a customer until I got legal involved. Once I got legal counsel involved the carpet was replaced in my truck within a week and the water leak was finally fixed then I received a check bc they sued them on my behalf for failing to fix within 30 days or within the 3rd attempt. Got rid of the truck after the transmission went out at 37k.

Let us know how it goes with Ford and if they will fix it under goodwill.

Thanks Mike - much appreciated.

Im not terribly confident Ford will do the right things based on what I've read online: the experience other people have had, failure of the class action suit, etc. But we'll see. I've spoken with Ford previously (about a year ago) and they indicated that there wasn't a repair program for the paint peeling.

Initially, the tailgate section was the only bad place. The degradation has since continued in the roof rails and now the section above the windshield so I imagine other areas will continue to degrade further which is very frustrating. The paint literally just flakes right off - zero adhesion in some places.

I purchased the truck new back in October of 2017. I don't drive much - @ 28,000 on the clock now. I've washed and maintained the truck as usual - oil changes, services, washes and the like. I just replaced the battery and serviced the trans. It's been a great truck - aside from the phaser issue on the EB motor but that was repaired under the service bulletin and has been solid since.

Real shame about the paint. I was hoping to hold on to this one for a long time.
