No. Should only take a few mins to install. The OTAs recently have been very fast and efficient.

Any thoughts on how close we are to BC 1.3?

My thought?

Maybe spring 2024. That is assuming Ford will bring it to our trucks at all. They seem to be running into issues with the high priority models (Mach-E, Lightning) and that is slowing down update progress. The fact that they have these updates coming OTA now that have been waiting on FDRS is a good sign though.

Is there any chance that upgrading modules via FDRS and not letting OTAs fly that we could be missing configuration changes? What I mean is does FDRS also enable new functionality in a module the same as when that module is updated via OTA?

Updating via FDRS is the same as waiting for OTA's without the wait. Until an update shows in FDRS, there is no chance it will come in via the OTA process.

So configuration changes necessary to enable features like cameras at speed are contained in the FDRS update method as well? I was just curious as to whether or not an update via OTA also contained additional info where FDRS was only looking at the software in the module itself.

Indeed. Anytime a new update starts showing up in FDRS for vehicles, a new OTA shortly follows. It is literally the same update. You can just apply it yourself as soon as it is released instead of waiting for the OTA roulette.

I usually wait a few days or a week and let other people be the guinea pig before I do my own. Lol

For that exact reason I'm very happy to be last on Ford's list for OTA's. My truck seems to always get them 3 or 4 weeks after there first reported here on the forum. :)

Seems like longer for my job 1. Maybe they go in reverse VIN order? ?‍♂

After receiving 6.4.0, I just another one for 2.7.4. Anyone know what’s going on?
