2025 - How to Add SecuriCode

Thanks for all the creation of and contributions to this thread! I just added the keypad to my 2025 King Ranch which was built August 2025 and the harness was indeed in the door still. Thanks to all the contributions to this thread I spent more time reading through the posts than I did doing the physical installation.

I was able to push the harness down through the bottom opening and got it first try and didn't even have any 'extra parts'!

I have some other Forscan coding to do so I've added coding up the keypad to my list for tomorrow.

I do, thanks. Added it a couple of days ago and it was very straight forward, more so than some of the other Forscan mods.

anyone switch to using a 7 digit code instead of 5? i saw the option in forscan

This was a great installation guide. I installed everything and had a Ford mobile technician activate the keypad using FDRS while he was installing the software update for Recall #25S88.

Here is the major Post: Forscan changes 21-25 (Make sure you read all well, sometimes there are special changes per the year model.) After clicking on the first link, click on this link https://bit.ly/3cJnYMS you will get taken to the actual spreadsheet and see a listing of popular changes. MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE ON THE "COMMON TAB", LOOK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SPREADSHEET. Scroll down to keypad enable.

For what it's worth, one very large high-volume dealer here in Atlanta is now adding the B-pillar keypads in at the same time they spray the bed liner and tint the two front windows. Shows up on the addendum and looks like they are charging around $400 or so for parts and labor. Use this for comparison if you don't want to tackle it yourself and your local dealer says they can't do it.

If I were shopping apples for apples and one dealer had a keypad installed and the other didn't, I know where I would spend my money. Smart move if you ask me. I use it every time I get in and out of my truck. Such a game-changer. If they're still missing on the 26, Ford has officially gone tone deaf to their customer base. That being said, if a dealer has one of those bogus "lifetime powertrain warranties", I'm not even walking through the front door.

Seen someone else pay $600 to have it done.
