2025 - How to Add SecuriCode

New to the forum. I appreciate all of the info on this thread. I have a Platinum coming with a build week of 6/23 and I look forward to doing this mode once I confirm the wiring harness is still in the door.
Also, has anyone ordered the new wireless keypad but installed it in the fuel door? Let me know if there is another thread on that.

FWIW, I installed the keypad on the inside of the fuel door on my Bronco. Fit perfectly.

I used this post (with link to video of the install) from the great @RagnarKon:

Requires FDRS. This is what the majority of the video discusses. Was very easy once one gets logged in to FDRS.

Thanks for your reply. I ordered the wireless keypad as the dealer installed option. I will have them program it but not stick it on the door and put it inside the fuel door instead. If they wont install it there I'll have them throw it in the console and I'll do it.

If you have a powerboost, this won't work, otherwise a pretty good location.

Because the fuel door locks or you dont think it will fit? For me this would be rarely used and there is a release tab under the truck in front of the wheel well.

That was my plan also. Unfortunately my dealer didn't remember and they installed it on the door. And not even over the handle, offset towards the back. I think they used the instructions for the maverick location.

That was my thought too.

The same may happen on mine as well. My salesman noted the order but said the guys that do the install were not good at paying attention to the notes. I plan on going to the dealership when the truck arrives and remind them.

So what are the chances of cutting the hole for the keypad in my existing applique?
It's a new 2025 lariet that I just ppf film put on the factory no keypad Bpillar.
I'd like to maybe Dremel out the correct size opening.

1st step: Confirm you have the wiring (I did on my 2025 KR).

If you do - probably no harm in trying to cut the hole for your keypad... If you don't like the results, you can always order the replacement pillar with the hole already cut.

I think i might give it a go.
I'm going to order the parts I need and have them Ready so when I do open the door panel up I'll only have to do it once.

Thank you for this write-up! Successfully added the key pad to my '25 STX.
With the help of my local Ford parts guy, the flat black textured moulding (with keypad cutout) part number is FL3Z-1520555-TE.
