I do like the redesigned digital cluster on the 24s. Wonder if the 21-23 will get it.

These clowns are unbelievable. Inquired in a 23 lariat today that was advertised at 61k. Guy texts me that he’s going to send me the best deal I’ll find anywhere and proceeds to send me a quote for 69k on a 73k truck. I ask what happened to the online price? Oh well that includes rebates only available to Missouri residents(which I don’t think there are any regional rebates right now) and a ford private cash offer if you have one. HAHAHA unreal

I can confirm there are some regional rebates that differ. Where I grew up I’m able to see different offers than where I currently live (about 2 hrs apart). Pretty sure not 6k different though (and including a PCO is super shady on top of that)

Sadly the old "bait and switch" has been a mainstay in the auto dealership industry since I can remember, and since I started buying new cars (1979 Mazda RX7). Advertised prices are worthless and you have to call.

The internet has greatly improved the buying experience, but you usually have to plan on traveling if you want the best deal. This can also give you some cost negotiating ammo if you want to stay local but often the local guys just may not care about someone else's offers.

If you are paying MSRP or close, then local might be fine. You can also get lucky and catch a dealer at the right time that needs to move something, but it is a crap shoot.

Just to play devils advocate here, this dealership is in the shadow of the ford plant where tend sof thousands of people work. So it’s probably common practice there to list that price..… just a Theory.

Just saw a car hauler with freaking Kia on it..2 of the large suvs on it. Looked like expeditions only in a 2/3rd. Size..I had to do a double take

No, this was wood motors in Missouri. Phil Long is just straight up a couple grand over sticker and won’t discuss price unless I go waste hours there. What savings are they advertising?

That makes more sense. I've seen lots of dealers around here list "too good to be true" discounts, then when you dig into their terms or start talking to them it's because they're combining every possible incentive even though it's basically impossible to get them all. This seemed like a whole new level of deception.
