2024 Lariat Black Appearance Package Orders

I ordered in late 2023 and the spray in liner didnt seem to delay my order at all. I was worried after placing the order and then seeing all the post about that delay. My theory is this came from dealers trying to get customers to buy their spray in offering.

I was told that the Bedliner was listed as a constraint on my order along with the BAP.

I have both BAP and Berliner and was scheduled a month ago.

There really is no rhyme or reason on the constraints. They continue scheduling people with all those items but the biggest thing that delays builds I think is the Lariat BAP. Mine was just scheduled with everything you removed

It seems like this most recent batch that got scheduled included any ordered up until January so you must have just missed getting scheduled. Hopefully they schedule another group of lariats like they did last week in the near future for you as you should be near the top of the list for remaining lariat BAP

I hope you are right. Managing the timing of my lease turn-in has been a headache with the scheduling process. I had to extend it until 8/1/24 from the previous 6/1/24 turn-in date.

Oh jeez yeah that adds a fun aspect to the order process. Unfortunately this week they are scheduling for the last week of June and then the f150 plants shut down for the first two weeks of July so if you aren’t scheduled this week the next earliest you could be scheduled is for a build the week of 7/15.

That is what I am banking on. I can manage a week or two without a vehicle, but not two months, and not with an indefinite timeframe for delivery. Even if it is built, there is still the chance for a quality hold, delays in shipment, etc.

Yeah exactly. I see others have been getting their builds for 6/17 pushed to 7/15. Knock on wood I haven’t gotten one yet but that leads me to believe they at least plan on building some lariat baps that week so hopefully at the very least you will get scheduled for that week

I ordered on 10/18 and my build hasn't even started. Every time I chat with ford they say chat with my dealer and my dealer just says I have a priority code of 3 and should be next but have been hearing this for weeks/months. Is it the dealers fault this has taken so long?

If the dealer has no allocations, then yes. BUT...your dealer would be able to tell you that. Its more likely just Ford's ineptitude to efficiently schedule retail orders. There are several members here that have seemingly been forgotten by the scheduling system. You are not alone.
