2024 Information - Colors, Options, What Do You Know?

Ok this looks really good.

Emblem doesn't look illuminated to me, just looks like bright-metal through a dirty window wreaking havoc on the camera sensor.

This looks LED to me. Not only is the turn signal screaming LED, I don't see anything in the center of the reflector like there would be for halogen. Could be they just moved the positions around, but I'd bet at least the turn signal is LED

I mentioned it elsewhere, but Ford should make the XL the Gen14 while the other trims get the Gen15. This pic doesn't look good. It actually physically looks cheap.

New shots today from Ford Authority. Fuuu I really like that front end (minus lettering).

I think this shot pretty much solidifies flat Super Duty dash, and I think that might be the HUB projector next to the yellow? could be another placard inside, but also....

Has there been any mention of a Limited 2024? I kinda feel like the new Platinum looks to be a direct replacement for the outgoing Limited; the grille design is very similar to the current Limited grille, and only the current limited gets the hood lettering. Elimination of the Limited trim makes sense for a few reasons:

1) Ford has stripped so many features that a Limited is a terrible value equation over a Platinum (or really anything down to a 502A Lariat at this point).

2) Elimination of an entire trim would go a long way toward helping eliminate 2,400 parts from the 2024 F150 catalog.

3) I don't have numbers handy, but the Limited doesn't seem to sell very well.

Of course this could all be old news... I haven't been around much recently.

Getting rid of the Limited and making the Platinum the top trim makes total sense to me. The current gen Platinum is more of a "Lariat +" since it has so many deleted features, and the current gen Limited is what the Platinum should have been in my opinion.

I think it really weird we haven't seen anything on the updated 2024 color bank. It has been confirmed that Super Duty has two new colors for 2024: Darkened Bronze Metallic and Glacier Gray Metallic.

The Darkened Bronze Metallic sounds like a cross of Bronze Fire and Magma Red. I certainly hope that these colors find their way onto F-150s. If they have a color remotely similar to Bronze Fire, I will order for sure.

The overall lack of information about the 2024 F150 at this point is crazy. I can already build and price a Sierra, Silverado, and Ram yet I don't even know the color option or the heated steering wheel availability of the F150. Ford just seems to not be able to get out of their own way sometimes.

Even worse for the Super Duty. The SD Order Guide has been out for a bit, some dealers are already taking 2024 orders and the build and price is still not updated.

I'm sure Ford Canada won't update the build and price until well into 2024. It was well into 2023 by the time the 2023's were available to build. Sooo slow.
