Retired and not looking. I am driving the wife crazy.
The blue cruise discussion is interesting. Blue cruise is is one of two of the highest rated of the self driving technology sold by any make in the US. It does not mean it is number 1 however. Seems everyone is having trouble with the implementation of self driving technology. It can be updated easily enough assuming Ford will keep it around in its present configuration. In other words, it should get better over time.

My wife has a 23 GMC Yukon Denali XL with supercruise. I just spent a week messing with it. Make no mistake. It is not ready for prime time and is not practical on crowded highways. Without taking over I would have crashed twice. That being said, I assume it will continue to be updated as well. As an aside, it will not work at speeds beyond 85 mph. We have a toll road with those speeds. I was trying to set it to 90. Oh well.

I will not buy blue cruise for my 2024 F150 XLT should my 2023 F150 XLT be totaled. Just waiting to hear on the total.

Self driving technology is a long way in years from being truly useful. As it gets better, the technology to use it will get better, but the ability to update probably will not as new components will be developed that will not work in arrears.
