I know, they are not as fun or as good as they used to be ... all fluff and no details. The pick up truck and suv guy is a bit annoying, but always comes with good facts to back up his statements. For example, the real failure rate of EB engines is really LOW compared with all the crap you can read and hear about on the inter web. Plus, how can you judge a crapped out tundra with a 2.5 year old F150? Even with all the miles ...

People don't usually come on the internet / make an account to say "nothing to report". Typically you get lots of complaints as that's just how it works.

As for TFL, lots of low-effort stuff and their format as a whole is just really poor. Furthermore with a lot of vehicles now receiving OTAs, they ratings like brake applications on factory tow logic is out of date not long after when the PCM gets an update. Factory logic typically tries to keep noise levels down and not wind out engines. Their notion that the average person is going to get a truck, max out the towing while also not knowing anything about towing goes out the window pretty quickly as the driver adapts to the vehicle and changes variables to make the experience better.

They get little things wrong regularly which shouldn't really be occurring at this point in their timeline. They make assumptions at times, fail to note the frequencies of noise instead strictly looking at a sound meter/etc. As for Andre, not sure if he's playing dumb or really is that slow. Neither make for a good presentation. They should be producing a better quality product and paying closer attention to details, but instead are just going for putting out more videos vs better ones. I probably might watch one of their vids once a month, and even that seems more frequent than I really do.

Agreed. They are past their sell date for sure ... and every time I see Roman I wonder, what is he going to complain about now. They had or maybe have two young women working with them on the EV trucks, not much detail - but honest assessment of trucks and performance and not too in the weeds with details.

I did enjoy and watch the hill climb portion - and although I cannot stand to listen to the mr. truck guy, he has good knowledge about hooking up a trailer, tongue weight, etc. I would really enjoy either something very accurate and scientific - or - a GOOD version of Top Gear - just the silly stuff, but not so dumbed down one's like the Australian and American versions.
