2022 F150 Unleashed Sub Issue and question

Hey guys,

Have a bad rattle in the sub speaker, so I suspect its blown. Had the screech and pop issue several times. I also read the threads about window rattles and TSB and this is not the particular case. I took the speaker out and it sounds terrible.

I may ask about warranty but never have any luck with anything subjective like this. The speaker would have to be in flames and fall out of the truck and then the dealer MIGHT admit that there could be a problem...lol!

Anyways I read a lot of threads about all the nice and expensive sub upgrades, not sure if I want to get into all that with this truck.

I'm curious, is there just a better speaker I can buy and put into the stock location without getting into amps and all that? What size is that speaker?

But to answer OP's question - I do not believe there is an aftermarket drop-in that would improve the sound. You would need to go with an aftermarket setup.

Went to the dealer and they actually agreed that the sub sounded blown and ordered a replacement.
