2022 F150 Bed Lights Only Work Through Zone Lighting

The title pretty much explains what my problem is. Bought the truck used with 30k on it and was trying out the features. I noticed that the bed lights are only coming on through zone lighting. Neither the interior switch or switch in the bed is working. I’ve checked through the other threads on the issue and made the recommended changes in Forscan but that didn’t help the issue, so I reverted them back to how they work from my original save. Does anybody else have any recommendations before I try out another switch?

Interesting. Had to replace the bed switch on my 2016. It was an easy swap. Weird that it's not working on the inside switch, though. Good luck to you!

I guess I could probably clarify a little bit better on the Forscan changes I made that didn’t work incase I am missing a change that I could make.

I changed it to read XXXX-XXXX-04XX. No luck doing that.

Line 2 Changed to XXX1-XXXX-XXXX
No luck in these either.

I am not aware of any other lines that could be used. These were just the two most common that I could find in other threads.

Haven’t gotten around to getting to it yet. That’s what I’m gonna start with next. It was really more of the interior switch not working that is stumping me. I know that it could be a wiring issue, but I wouldn’t figure it being the root cause on a few year old vehicle, but there is always a possibility I guess.

It does seem odd that they aren't working with either switch. I suppose that the previous owner could have used both extensively and wore them out, but that seems unlikely.

Doubtful that both would have an issue. Checking wiring at BCM seems where you'll eventually end up.

I guess it is technically the switch for the overhead cargo light lol I had assumed it worked both the overhead and box lights. Either way, the overhead won’t come on either from the interior.
