Good luck getting them to actually do it.

Had a conversation with a tech at my dealership where Ford / Lincoln admitted to the APIM software being defective after they had to buy back i believe he said 10 Aviators likely to Lemon Laws.

That reboots only the APIM (touchscreen).

Got it. In your case, there are no new codes being reported and there is no recent OTA history indicating an OTA that could have partially installed and messed something up. If you have FORScan, try rebooting the GWM in case it is hung up in a funky state and causing some quirks. If you don't, you can try disconnect the negative battery cable for 20 minutes to force reset all the modules and see if that helps. This may or may not do anything to help the cause, but it won't hurt anything to try.

Yes, it would require disconnecting the negative post on both batteries.

I got the 6.3.0 update a few weeks ago but my Ford Pass only shows the 6.2.0 update that came in January. I updated the app, but that didn’t help.
Has anyone else had this issue?

Never seen the 0 error in an IPC update. I would post this on the fdrs thread instead of here.

What is the name of your USB stick? Keep a short name and try a different stick if that helps. But I am inclined to say this error looks like battery’s SOC isn’t healthy enough to continue the update. If everything fails, you do have the option to CAN the update (please plan it as it takes ~6 hours).

BTW you might get better results by posting in the FDRS thread.

I got it too, installed yesterday evening. If FordPass is any indicator, it actually disabled the truck for quite some time to install.

Oh good! I never had window bounceback until I got the last DDM update. Now I do pretty often. I recorded feedback for Ford saying that - maybe they listened!
