It was sudden. I was in a highly populated area that I have never had a problem with on my GM cars. My CarPlay was in and out of static and connection for about 60 seconds, then went dead. Some of the best static I have heard, but I was really looking for my Google maps and music.
While driving I tried to bring it back to life working through my iphone button on the screen. I think it dropped my blue tooth signal and I had no luck bringing it back on my phone or screen, either on the truck or iphone. Both were present on the other. When finding bluetooth both just spun.
On the way back two days later, same area, same problem for about a minute. The truck sat for two days and I did nothing other than start it up and poke Apple Car Play. It was in and out to static. I did nothing, just waiting for it to drop. It managed to hold on to the signal and maps and music worked fine for the next three hours back to Dallas.
So, does anyone know if I have a problem that might be fixed? I have not had this truck long enough to look for updates. I keep reading about updates but I cannot find any way to update this truck. Nor do I know if it has ever been updated.
Headed to the dealer for some other minor items, so will ask about updates.
Open for suggestions.
