I just finished adding back the advanced security pack module and making the necessary FORScan changes. Pretty simple install following @DcnPat steps. I tested by locking the truck with the windows down and waving my arm and it did set off the alarm. I do have some DTC alerts, even after resetting but I’m not sure if those were there before I made any changes. Everything seems to be running fine.

Has anyone wired in the motion sensors. I pulled mine down and don't have the wires or connector. Is there a harness that can be purchased maybe.

Did you have the blue, empty box up in there? If so, you're replacing that with the real part. Should be around $30

I did not. I bought the part in hopes but when I pulled it down there was nothing.

Interesting. You should find a connector up there that powers the small, blue box. If you're not seeing that, then you might not have the wiring in place. In your window sticker, it should say it was deleted. If so, the wiring should be up there. If you don't see the "deleted" reference, then you might be out of luck on that one. That's just from the posts I've read.

So where does the two sensors “eyes” go? Shouldn’t there be two small holes in the overhead console for them to go?

OK folks I decided to add the advanced security pack back to my 2023 Limited. I was a bit surprised to find a blue box when I pulled the console down. Turns out it is a dummy blue box that is empty inside. They could have saved a buck or two if they had just used tape to keep the harness out of the way...

Getting those sensors into the holder is pretty much impossible without taking the console apart. Once I decided to take it apart I had the sensors in place in about 5 min.

Going to see if I can activate the sensor with Forscan or if I need "the big gun" (FDRS). Thought I'd post the pics before I try.

As long as the wiring harness is there you should be golden. Once you make the changes to all the modules you need to go to the wrench icon on the left hand side of the Forscan window and do the BCM LIN new module config. The truck needs to be on level ground according to the dialog/message box for that. It only takes a few seconds and you won't notice anything except Forscan will say it is done.

The overhead console comes down fairly easily but it is rather thin plastic on the edges. I used a wide bladed trim tool and started on the drivers side of the console about a inch from the rear corner and worked it out a bit then switched to the passenger side.

Got it working this morning. I found the Gen13 instructions and cross referenced the configuration by name since the addresses are different. I ended up verifying/modifying the following addresses:

IPC
720-02-02 *xxx xx-- make sure PARGCF is enabled (mine was)
720-09-02 xxxx *x-- enable PAGR
720-11-01 xxx* xxxx xx-- Perimeter Alarm Text (mine is set to motion sensors)

BCM
726-02-02 x1xx x1xx xx-- Set Retrig config to enabled and security config to both
726-55-01 xxxx xx01 xx-- LIN CSM Config
726-65-01 xxxx xxx1 xx-- CSM Slave present

APIM
7D0-09-01 xxxx xxx* xx-- Enable PARGCF
7D0-09-02 xxxx xxxx *x-- Enable PAGR

Then do the BCM LIN new module configuration process.

I found it much easier to install the sensors after removing the console, the console back and the switch circuit board from the console. There are clips and screws that hold the switch circuit board in. Be gentle with the clips. I've pointed out the clips on one side in this photo by the big blue arrows.

I'm not sure if it make a difference, but I made sure the sensors are in the same order I've seen in other photos with the green in the middle, the red on the passenger side and the orange on the driver's side.

This is great info. Just stumbled on it. I have a 23 Lariat. Just got the box and I’m going to install it today. My question is after doing the changes in forscan. The BCM Lin config. Is that done in forscan or fdrs? I have a yearly sub. To fdrs just want to make sure I’m doing it the correct way. Thanks!

I'm cheap and don't have a mongoose cable or fdrs. You can do everything for this in forscan.

@HammaMan Did you make a harness to add this or did you purchase one? If you purchased one, do you happen to have the part number?

No, the advanced security addition for glass break and impact is a better use of your time though costs a bit more and is plug and play.

Does anyone know the pin locations and type of pins required at the BCM as well as the connector for the overhead console and required pins? I don't disagree with what @HammaMan mentioned above, but I can't justify spending at least twice as much for something where I won't be using 2/3 of its features.

Went to install the sensor in my 23 Lariat and found it’s there, just needed activation. I have a new in the package sensor if anyone needs one. Going to post it in the for sale section.
Part No.: LC5Z-15K609-A
