Ford Security Package for 2024+

I received this email from Ford regarding an updated "Security Package" availability. From a dealer website (slightly outdated as '25 features available now) it's for '24-'25 F-150s and '25 Super Duty. It requires the FordPass app. The first year is free and subsequent years are $79.95 a year. Ford is also giving you 2500 FordPass points for signing up.

Yeah, I signed up for it at least for the free year. It was added to connected services in my Fordpass app.

Might be worthwhile if I parked the truck in a high theft location at night but otherwise is a waste of money.

I pay for the security package (after the free trial), and I keep seeing that the updates include the start inhibitor with the security pack. Do we know when this is going o actually show up on the Ford Pass app? This would be a great addition to the security pack that I pay for.

My "Ford" app (formerly Ford Pass) is version 6.1.0 for Android and includes the "Slide to activate inhibit" option.

Ford really needs to adjust their language. After my truck got broken into, I also started asking about the deductible reimbursement. After talking to Ford, they say that is only if the truck is stolen and recovered, with damage. I never saw the "25 vehicles only" anywhere. I really appreciate the info on this.
