I saw a couple videos, where some folks that travel off grid often were warning against hood mounted solar panels due to the damage they cause to the hood. Damaging the clear coat and burning the paint.

When they pick it up, is it on a wrecker or do they send a couple folks out there and drive it to the dealer? I’ve never had really great experiences with a dealers service department.
