VERY nice write-up, by the way.... I read with interest, as I think I'm finally ready to make these mods. With absolutely NO disrespect intended to Livingitup, I appreciated the additional explanations you gave for each address - helpful. So without an aux cam mounted on a trailer etc. or without a trailer connected and set up, the only other normal view is the 50-50 view. As standard you have front, front 180°, 360°, bed, hitch, reverse, reverse 180°.
50-50 is the Split View down each side of the truck. The soft menu button is a truck with 2 down arrows on it. If you don't have that, you can do:
Enable 50-50 viewsAPIM7D0-01-01was: xxxx 0xxx xx--new: xxxx 2xxx xx-- If your "was" is different, let me know.
If you want all the views at speed, also do these (again, if "was" is different, let me know):
FeatureModule:Address :Was:New:Enable Cameras at SpeedAPIM7D0-01-01xxxx xxxx BC--xxxx xxxx FD--Enable Off Road Views at SpeedAPIM7D0-01-04xxxx DCxx xx--xxxx FDxx xx--Enable 50-50 views at speedAPIM7D0-01-04xxxx xxxx x0--xxxx xxxx x1--Enable 50-50 views at speedIPMA706-01-020xxx xxxx xx--3xxx xxxx xx--Enable Cameras at SpeedIPMA706-02-02xxxD CExx xx--xxxF CExx xx--Enable OffRoad (Rock Crawl, Mud/Ruts,
and Deep Snow/Sand) Front Camera at SpeedIPMA706-02-02xxxx xx00 xx--xxxx xx03 xx-- The last one also gives you tyre tracks on the view which move with the steering wheel. Reboot both the APIM and IPMA in service procedures if needed.
The only explanation I have for that is that even though I have pro trailer backup assist, TRG must not be a part of that. However, if you had TRG enabled originally, you'd leave it enabled, which would make that new value "F" instead of a "D". Also note that the values being seen in the sheet are not all for the F-150, e.g. there are values for many models in "Vehicle Type" settings in some modules. It's possible that if we all have TRG disabled, it may not be a setting for us.....why would you want that feature disabled? (I'm not challenging you, I'm asking out of ignorance.) Choosing "E" for the value instead of "D" leaves the TRG enabled. Does this pose some problem that I'm not aware of?
No, there is no difference, I just made my own sheet for my own clarity. That value enables both rear camera at speed and off road views at speed. Also hitch view and 1-pedal drive, which, I presume, is for handicapped people where they lift off the accelerator and it brakes for them ?...is there a difference? Much more to the point, for the same address Livingitup posts a note that says, "use FF if you have 1-pedal drive". ...What's 1-pedal drive?
1PD is for the EV's only, but that is exactly what it does. The only explanation I have for that is that even though I have pro trailer backup assist, TRG must not be a part of that. Great point, and something that I had not considered. After digging into this deeper and looking at the Ford provided values on my own truck, I came to realize that there are at least two listed value changes that I don't have to change at all - they are already the correct values. Also note that the values being seen in the sheet are not all for the F-150, e.g. there are values for many models in "Vehicle Type" settings in some modules.

Ah hah! Well, that does explain things! Thanks!1PD is for the EV's only, but that is exactly what it does.
I saw a post saying the new trucks don't have the appropriate hardware for it anymore so it won't be possible. Not sure if that is 100% confirmed or not.Just traded a 21 Platinum that I enabled Glare Free lighting on and would like to add it to my 2025 F150 Platinum High version. Has anybody cracked the code yet? See what we have only works for 21-22 model years.
Because these are effectively enable/disable switches, if you already have F, then they are all enabled, which I presume is the intent of TBMC, therefore no need to further modify that value.Ok I’m kinda dumb. But I added the factory trailer brake controller and programmed everything on forscan but TRM says 791-01-02 the second letter of the second block needs to add 1 to whatever is there. Mine says FF98. What is F+1??
