i have the 12inch ipc with trailer brake. I used E5.. I did notice that my dash has the oil temp gauge next to oil pressure... i guess that's why i don't see a trans temp. any way to replace the oil temp with trans temp... i ran throw the setting but don't see anything to switch them. if i go into my view. then gauges i can see all temps...
I think you can swap the boost gauge for the transmission temp gauge?

In looking through Livnitup’s tutorial to refresh myself, I now always get an error whenever I click on a hyperlink. It says something about my client doesn’t have the authority to access the URL. I’ve looked at the before. What’s up?

I think it may be because I’m presently in Chihuahua Mexico and somehow my internet doesn’t allow me access to the links. Everything else works but I can’t click the hyperlinks. I’ll try again when I get home.

You can't. The sensor is either on or off and that triggers whether you have oil pressure or you don't.

Has anyone ever used ForScan to marry a new blis module to a 2021 lariat? The other module had water damage (from a broken tail light I think).

Not true in 24, at least my dad’s Lariat has an actual pressure sender, you can watch the gauge move with RPMs.

I'll give you the values if you like. I'm presuming you're talking about SODL or SODR modules which have the same values in them.

So, based upon the VIN you gave, the values are:
SODL/SODR
7C4/7C6-01-01 3146 5446 57--
7C4/7C6-01-02 3145 3536 4D--
7C4/7C6-01-03 4641 3031 34--
7C4/7C6-01-04 3936 --

In future, unless you have to replace both modules, the working module's values can be put into the replacement module.

There are two possible options that I can see:
720-06-01xxx*xxxxxx--Cylinder Head Temp Display (CHTD) • Inlet Air Temp Display (IATD) • Oil Pressure Display (OPD) • Oil Temp Display (OTD)
720-12-01xxx*xxxxxx--Oil Pressure Gauge Type (OPGT) • Fuel Tank Arrow Direction (FTAD)

Check the value for OPGT. If it is set to sensor-based, you can try to enable OPD. If both are already true, then I don't know.

EDIT: I found another more relevant item:
720-07-01xxxxxxx*xx--Eng Oil Dig (EOD) • DO NOT USE (DONOTUSEAHBT) • Snow Plow (SP)
Which may do the trick. I cannot wait until I get my '23 back from the dealer to try this myself, because even though the gauge on '23s is basically on or off, I am also monitoring a PID to get true oil pressure. That means the truck can show true oil pressure, if the IPC allows it.

You have to copy the vin values from another module into the one you're replacing. If you have sub to FDRS you can PMI the IPMA for auto vin propagation. Forscan can do this just the same.
