The door ajar works but I still can’t get rid of the chime for key not detected when I get out and leave the truck running.
Beau, did you happen to ever figure out how to disable the no key detected chime? I too have been successful disabling everything else, but cannot figure this one out.

Still no luck unfortunately. Really driving me crazy as I do this several times a day.

I have a 2021 3.5 Eco Lariat... Can any share successful hex entries for 37x12.5x20 tires. The hex converter spreadsheet for tires only accepts metric entries not LT tire sizes, and I've tried converting inches to mm and using those in the spreadsheet and they don't work.
Also...
I have the IMPA U3000:49-28 code. Does anyone know a successful resolution to this using ForScan? All I've seen is a TSB that recommends a firmware update that has to be done at a dealer.

I have no CEL and no vehicle or IPMA performance issues... It's just annoying to me to have the code there.

You cannot updated firmware using FORScan.

Well, you can with the beta version if you have the files. There is a risk associated with doing this if something goes wrong. Regular people like you and me with FDRS can recover a bricked module. However, without FDRS and above-average knowledge of this kinda stuff, a person can find themselves in a bad place if something goes wrong side-loading software.

Here's the SSM (I called it a TSB, but it's not) related to the IPMA code. I tried the IPMA recalibration procedure in ForScan which is just driving down a straight road so it can calibrate where the lines are for the lane assist and Blue Cruise, but it did not fix the code.

Can I fix this with ForScan?

That SSM is 3-4 years old and no longer active. If you already tried the IPMA calibration with FORScan and it didn't resolve the issue, then the issue may lay elsewhere.

Did you measure the height of your wheel arches when you calibrated the IPMA? If you're running 37" tires, I assume you had to lift the truck to do so.

I did not measure the height of my wheel arches, I don't remember there being a prompt to do so, nor a field to enter that information. As I recall it was just a relearn procedure but there was no IPMA reset option in ForScan. The prompts talked about ensuring the road was straight and that it was sunny with no shadows on the road.

I just downloaded the newest version of ForScan so I can check again to see if more IMPA service procedures were added.

While I'm in there... Any advice for my tire size? (37x12.5x20) I cannot seem to get the right values.

When I recalibrated my IPMA, I did it with FDRS and FDRS asks about the height of the wheel arches......I've never done it with FORScan, so maybe FORScan doesn't ask that question. Note that FDRS specifically says to NOT change whatever value for the arch height; it says FDRS is not designed to recalibrate the IPMA to compensate for a lift and tells the user to return the truck to stock height and leave the values in the arch height fields alone.

Of course, I ignored everything FDRS said, manually measured the wheel arches and changed the values anyway and it worked perfectly.

As far as the tire size, I have 33's on mine and I adjusted the same way you did. My mph is still off by 1-2 mph compared to what Waze says, but it's close enough for me to where I didn't dig any deeper into the issue.

I used this hex calculator from the thread that is pinned to the top here to get mine exact using the GPS method. tried to link it but it put the entire form into the thread

The hex calculator only does metric sizes and you can't put in 37x12.5x20. And if you convert those it's a 318/68/20... Which I put into the calculator and used those hex values, but it doesn't seem to work. I was hoping to use someone's tried and proven values for those size tires.

i’ll have to pull it up when I can look at it on a screen bigger than my phone, but I thought I remembered the GPS method removing tire size from the equation altogether and just comparing vehicle speed to GPS speed.

I've started adding FORScan spreadsheets here for anyone interested: https://bit.ly/3cJnYMS

My FORScan tutorial is here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-8dKaS_Spu4Zw4hV_CrKC4tLoP9G8yejqegF1wxIqxY/edit

What does OTA stand for in your spreadsheet?

Is forscan able to monitor the transmission control module? I need to graph engine rpm, input torque shaft speed, and output shaft speed because I can’t convince the dealership that I have a transmission shudder problem. They have the tools to diagnose yet won’t use them. What would the addresses be for tss and oss on a 2021 f150? I tried obdlink, but those pids are not supported. Obdlink has user defined pids, but I don’t have the addresses to configure the monitor. Thanks

I believe Ford folded the transmission control into the PCM on the Gen14 F150.
Or put another way, my 2022 Powerboost doesn't have the traditional independent Transmission Control Module. An update to the transmission shift strategy is packaged in a PCM update.
