As you get closer to the turn, it should put a large arrow and green background in the centre of the cluster, where the myview etc. normally is.
That’s what I thought but mine doesn’t so that anymore for some reason.

Yesterday, I went was able to get all of the software updates at the dealer related to the phone connection issues TSB. After getting the updates, I pulled the latest as-built data from Ford to compare to what they had before the updates. I noticed a curious value change in the APIM that doesn't show in the current sheet.

7D0-05-01 xx*x xxxx xx-- Changed from 0 to 1.

The only values shown in the spreadsheet are 0,4,8, and C. This means that the lowest bit is unused in the known settings. I'm assuming that this means the latest APIM is using that bit for a setting, but have no reference as to what it is. Since I have added the front sensors and CCM to my truck, I've added the adaptive cruise control features. So, instead of 8, I have updated to a 9 with the assumption that I'm keeping whatever that other bit is supposed to be set to. I only got the updates in last night, so I haven't had time to test anything yet.

Does anyone else have an idea of what a 1 would mean on that byte of the APIM as-built values?
Hey @JayRay I am preparing to retrofit a CCM + wiring to the IPMA for ACC (Assist 2.0) and I noticed this same value of 1 for 7D0-05-01 on the APIM for my 2023 XLT 302a. Did the value 9 work okay for you?

If it's not enumerated in the spreadsheet, either the sheet needs to be re-analysed or no one knows. Until such time as it is enumerated, best practice is to preserve its current value. If, after the update and before you changed anything at that address, it became a 1, then, as you need EH+Stubs, 9 is correct to preserve the previous value.

Sorry, I was out of town the past few weeks and forgot to get back to verifying this for you. I went with a value of 9, and everything has been working great so far. As @SilverPigeon mentioned, it is best to keep that "ones" bit set when making the change. I haven't tried turning it off to see if I notice something change. If you have at that address, go with 9, as that seems to be the best option.

I traded my 2022 Powerboost Platinum in for a 2025 Raptor. About the only thing I miss about the platinum is it had a current trip screen that showed the info about the current trip. Is there a way to add it to the 2025 Raptor? The format of the trips screens were slightly different so not sure it can be done.

Revert the changes you made to what was there before. Did you make a back up or take a pic? If not, send me the VIN and I'll pull the data from Ford.

The function is "This Trip" which only shows for hybrid like your PB.

You can achieve the same functionality by:
- purchasing a cheap OBDII adapter like a VeePeak BT+ BTLE
- buying OBD Fusion for iphone
- using CarPlay to show trip stats during the current ignition cycle right there on your sync screen.

Thanks. I would have never guessed that’s a PB thing. I will try the OBD route.

Ok @ongrade Joe, this is the one that should do it:
7D0-09-05xxxxxx*xxx--Frunk Restricted Determination (FRD) • Lane Biasing (LB) • Key Detection Alert (KDA) • Running Board Control Function v2 (RBCF)
HOWEVER, my KDA is already set to 0 (disabled) and therefore I believe that this function is not being implemented on our APIMs. Happy to be proven wrong though ?
I gave this a try as this is the only remaining chime that drives me crazy. Unfortunately, it did not work for me. I was so hopeful it would! :)

I am using the latest version of Forscan (2.3.67) and I even tried rebooting the APIM after making the change. For what it's worth, these are my current values and the new values that I tried (changed from 6 to 4):

Code:
APIM 7D0-09-05 xxxx xx*x xx--
    CUR: 0015 0160 20--
    NEW: 0015 0140 20--

It's interesting that Ford has limited access to this to just the PB. I always wondered why it was missing in the loaner F150's I have driven.

I just wanted to update that I programmed glare free into my '23 yesterday and it works like magic. What a difference! I can't believe I drove 2 years without it activated.

Miles of 2 lane busy backroads and not one car flashed me, so it's working.

Cannot find by searching. Has anyone tried setting power running boards to stay out when locked? It would be nice for them to stay out when locking rather than my daily routine of hitting the kick button every time I park and lock.

Pretty sure there is a setting in the sync menu to have them stay out.

The Sync setting keeps them out while unlocked but they retract once the truck is locked. Really looking for the boards to be out unless driving.
