You mean the SYNC4 screen and not the Instrument cluster, correct? This should be in the side card with the Lariat already, and the full bed camera full screen from the camera button. Does your not show up?


Nope mine doesn't show up on the side card option list. Wasn't standard on the 21s but I belive there is some way to add it.

You can add it via Forscan.

If your truck is already prewired for it (you had CHMSL camera delete on your window sticker), it's really easy to add and enable.

if my truck has a push button start, what is the best "state" to do forscan programming? Is it "full accessory power"?

basically, do i get in the truck, DONT press the brake, and press the start button once?

That is how I always have made mine in my 21 lariat. I have not had any issues.

@Livnitup Just noticed an interesting change, seems there's no IPC module in the future, the 25MY Explorer /Aviator & 24MY Nautilus equipped with next gen Ford Digital Experience merged the IPC into APIM.

Yes, 25 F-150 still using Sync 4, 25 Expedition & Navigator will come with Ford Digital Experience

Has anyone disabled the trailer sway control with Forscan? I don’t want to have to remember to turn it off manually each time I start the truck.

I’m towing a travel trailer with a Weigh Safe wdh and the hitch says to disable the truck’s sway control system.

Is there a cheatsheet somewhere that explains what all the abbreviations are? E.g., MFCAH = ModuleFeatureCfg_AH apparently means AutoHitch but I only surmised that by having read 10 pages about enabling autohitch and I have no way to confirm it.

Nice find guys. I had been kicking over rocks in the IPC, IPMA and APIM trying to figure this one out. With those 3 changes I get the Yes or No prompt... but when I say no I get this:

I'm at this same point on my '21 Job 1 XLT. I changed values as below.

APIM: xxxx-xx*x-xxxx from E to F​

ABS: xx*x -- from 2 to 3​

IPMA: xxxx-xx*x-xx-- from 1 to 5​

Before those changes I didn't get any mention of autohitch. Now I get the yes/no prompt, then failure when I reply "no".

I have DTCs U0121 and U0145 in IPMA, related to lost communication and invalid values from ABS. ABS does not have DTCs. Resetting IPMA did not clear them.

I also have a DTC U0554 in IPC: Invalid data from APIM. That predates my editing for Autohitch but probably is a result of adding Trailer TPMS to my '21 truck. The trailer yaw sensor, TPMS and camera all work. The trailer TPMS does not display temp, which may be related to my having an analog instrument panel, rather than digitial.

What now?

Yes. I updated everything a few weeks ago with a goal of getting trailer turn view, which works. I don't think the issue is the software version. More likely, I made an error in the settings.

I believe you are going to have to figure out and clear the DTCs. And recheck the Forscan addresses/modifications.

The IPC DTC may be caused by having the trailer tire TPMS displayed in "My View". When I start the truck without the trailer being connected, the first thing I see is an alert that there's no trailer TPMS. Surely Ford doesn't expect it to always be there, so I may be wrong in my assessment. I'll remove trailer TPMS from "my view" and clear the DTC to see if it stays gone. That won't address the IPMA DTCs, though.
