I know of one on my wish list! Disable the 30 second lane centering disable if hands not on steering wheel.
Just add a weight to the wheel at either 3:00 or 9:00. I use 1.5 lbs. One pound was a bit light and two pounds was a bit much. Your mileage may differ. I used an old wrist weight. You only use this on the highway where steering wheel input is slight. Simple and effective.

Looking for a little help.
I have a 2021 XL STX without auto dimming mirror.
I'm trying to add one and there's a wire to connect to, but it has no power.
Fuse is in the fusebox.
Is there a forescan setting to turn on that power?
Or is it more likely that they did not connect the wire at fusebox?

Thank you for any help in figuring this out.

I've started adding FORScan spreadsheets here for anyone interested: https://bit.ly/3cJnYMS

My FORScan tutorial is here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-8dKaS_Spu4Zw4hV_CrKC4tLoP9G8yejqegF1wxIqxY/edit

Attached is the wiring diagram if you want to trace it down but I'm not aware of any value in the BCM that gives power to that.

Apparently the '23 Lightnings & Super Duty have a feature called Pro Trailer Hitch Assist that automatically controls steering, throttle and brake inputs to make hitching trailers easier.

Requirements: Pro Trailer Backup Assist.

The following values should enable this but we would like to get feedback from guys with '21-'23s to see if it works with all the years. If so, then I will add it to the common spreadsheet

Pro Trailer Hitch Assist (Autohitch)
APIM 7D0-01-03 xxxx xx*x xx-- Autohitch
ABS 760-03-01 xx*x -- Autohitch (use 760-03-01 xxx* -- for Tremor/Raptor)
IPMA 706-01-01 xxxx xx*x xx-- ModuleFeatureCfg_AH

NOTE: use the corresponding spreadsheets to find your value where the * is above & reset the APIM module (FORScan wrench icon) after the change and clear any DTCs that may be present.

Pressing the center button on Pro Trailer Backup Assist should trigger an image with 2 buttons asking if a trailer connected Yes or No
If you hit No it will go into Hitch Assist and yes goes to the normal Pro Trailer Backup Assist

Nice find guys. I had been kicking over rocks in the IPC, IPMA and APIM trying to figure this one out. With those 3 changes I get the Yes or No prompt... but when I say no I get this:

Ford F-150 2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet 1673656145940

On the 2023 F150 Lariat I drove and tested this function.... I did not get the yes no prompt I got a message indicating the truck was searching for the trailer.

Maybe it will work once I have a trailer actually behind me.... I will try that tomorrow!!! But very optimistic!

And if you want my before/after settings let me know.

I must be misunderstanding something, but are you fellas asking for what we have as a value for "*"?

Or do you want us to plug in a value at "*"?

I can go fetch my 2022 KingRanch Powerboost 6.5 with the necessary features, for scientific research. :)

I certainly OWE you guys far more than that.

I think they want us to turn on the Auto hitch bit... but depending on trim/config you have to figure out the hex code... looking at your current value.

Curious if you already have this function since you are a 2022.

Use the corresponding spreadsheets to find your value to use where the * are. I went back and edited that post with this to clear things up. We're just wondering if this works on '21-current trucks and if ipma/apim/abs software levels matter.

I have the following values.

APIM 7D0-01-02 724D 25E6 3FE3
ABS 760-03-01 D320 5E
IPMA 706-01-01 8A50 A019 AE50

I do not get a prompt for two choices when I hit the center button of Trailer Assist. But rather a request to choose a trailer, and then afterwards it states that it is looking for the trailer.

Ford F-150 2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet 20230113_190854

I've never gone through the trouble of calibrating the utility trailer, so it tries to coach me to finish the process.

Anyways, I know I have Smart Hitch because it's a sub-feature onboard scales. I do not know if I have Trailer Hitch Assist because I have never seen it initiated when I push the center button. I have seen the Sync screen say that it is "looking for trailer", but for this truck I believe it is looking for the registered sticker for the trailer?

I'll invest into what all the truck has tomorrow. I'll even register/calibrate a trailer or two to actually experience what is gimmick VS value.

I sure will. And sorry for the confusion.
I'd love to contribute any way that I can. :)

@JIMFOUNTAIN
You must have a dtc related to the IPMA. The dtc has to be cleared before it will work.

I really feel like the biggest dufus, but I don't know what the "corresponding spreadsheets" are, regarding this hitch assist feature.

Obviously the latest official spreadsheet is always available in post #1 of this thread. I refer to it often enough. :)

APIM 7D0-01-02 isn’t on the list of lines needed.
We know you don’t have the feature as it’s not available yet “technically”. We know it works on our trucks but if you are interested in the feature you can try it and report back if it works before we add it to the main spreadsheet.

Your lines would be like below to enable auto hitch. Except for the APIM. I don’t know your current value.

APIM 7D0-01-03. ???

Oops, my bad for transposing
APIM 7D0-01-02
Instead of
APIM 7D0-01-03

I actually did post the correct values, just mislabeled which line it was in the APIM.

APIM 7D0-01-0 3 is 724D 25E5 3F
according to a backup file.

Thanks for the clarification @antho
I'll give it a whirl.
