Just wondering what has all changed rotor wise from 2020 to 2021. Found some cheap rotors on Amazon but says won’t fit from a 2020 to 2021

You should dwell on what you asked, for just a little bit.
You want to buy cheap ass rotors, the things that actually stop the truck?

Just get the factory parts if you don't have someone like rockauto up there that will sell you quality discount parts.

Rock auto ships to Canada and have for over 20 years, I exclusively use rock auto unless I’m in a huge pickle and need something immediately

Hey let’s focus on answering the questions rather than judging people for the parts they buy. This will

I do believe they are different. Looking into what I need for brakes myself and seeing same thing online. Ford rotors were fine on my last truck but had issues with calipers and rubber lines collapsing that wore down calipers faster.

Look at other brands on rockauto then, plenty of quality options and you'll get what you pay for. Something not very common on amazon these days. It sounds like you're hard on the brakes, consider the Z36 and see if that gives you better life with your usage.

I just looked online with Napa auto parts. From what I can see, the only difference is the 2020 rotors have 2 holes for rotor attachment screws where the 2021 rotors do not. I don't see any size difference in diameter, bolt hole diameter, thickness, but since there is a new part # I would not try it. Personally I would not purchase from Amazon or E-bay critical parts for my truck. Rock auto is ok as long as you can wait and you have ordered the correct parts, otherwise you are wasting time on returns. In my opinion you are better off going to a regular parts store and getting your stuff there. This way any problems can be handled in person, not online. Good luck.

@Eskram @HammaMan @UGADawg96 and BigDogDaddy! can we show some compassion here. The guys a new forum member, very first thread, first question, doesn't even have a like yet. And here we are blowing him up over a question about finding and purchasing a higher quality brake rotor.

And he's an oilfield worker!

How many miles have you put on the truck that you're needing you're third set of rotors? Are you looking for front and rear? I've always had good luck with the Motorcraft rotors there made of a very high quality iron. That the cheaper replacements don't use, and my experience has been that cheap rotors warp more quickly.

Truck only has 130,000 km . I don’t think you guys realize the hell our trucks go through on a daily basis running it on oilfield roads out here in Alberta. It’s not that I’m hard on the breaks it’s just they literally get torn apart in the mud and dirt on my work commute. They littery get mixed with mud that is like cement and its not uncommon to have to do a set of rear pads every oil change when the conditions are wet. And with all that and the temperature shock after the grinding and heat from the mud then get hit with water just tends to warp them very quickly. Rather then spending $1000-$1200 on rotors again was just wanting an opinion on a cheaper set seeing that they are just going to get destroyed anyways. Was thinking of trying the drilled and slotted maby to keep the heat down more to prevent the warping. If I can get away with a third of the cost each time and get the same life span outa the parts then why not.

There are lots of places to save money; things that kill you if they fail are not one of them.

Right, and good parts are only $500. That's the average deductible which is better to not be used. Might try a slotted rotor under such conditions to help move debris / clean pads. Questionable chinese iron isn't the answer.
