C’mon! Ford made it easy to pull the 10r80 and fix it yourself. There’s all sorts of YouTube videos out there. Everyone already knows you have to pull the tranny for internal repairs every 4 years. Stop complaining! It’s just a part of owning a Ford. ?
No it's not, Unless you drive a ton of miles and it still don't require pulling the tranmission.

The new 8-speed is having major problems with gm. GM products are absolute garbage. GM can't even repair the new 8 speed. GM also uses the four 10 speed I believe it's the 10L80 designation. They just issued a massive recall for the same types of issues. And they didn't start using them till supposedly after Ford made the corrections in mid-2022 to the hardware in the Ford transmission.
Gm been using them since they were created as a joint venture with GM and Ford, but had 8 speed in 2.7 turbomax. 5.3 and 6.2 had 10L80 which is the same as 10R80 just different bell to match gm engine.

Well thank goodness the Gen14 F150 community has you here to remind us that we all own garbage. It'd be tragic if anyone was actually happy with theirs. Especially those that have been relatively trouble free.
MIne is trouble free, runs like a top. Shifts fast and no clunkyness. Smooth as can be. I launch or take off easy and it runs great and shifts smooth.
